Believe in Yourself and that is a start.

Hi Friends,

If there is any left. I don't know what's going on - but I used to make a post every day with lots of hits, but now I do one every 2 days or so and hardly anything. It makes me wonder why I am doing this any more.

Well the reason I Blog and started the Facebook page is that if I can reach just one lonely, sad person that thinks the way I used to before the BFC and help them to lose weight and get healthy - then my day will be MADE..

I Just knew that at a size 18-20 at the age of 51, I would be that way forever.. No one could ever tell me any different. I felt bad about myself and tried not to look very often. I always cropped pictures of me in them to focus around the face.

Come-On! You know how I felt - right?

If that's you too reading this, You don't have to feel that way anymore. I am living proof that a regular person who ate whatever she wanted - whenever she wanted, can do it and so CAN YOU!!

You MUST participate and join us. You must be accountable for YOU! You must accept the fact that if you try real hard and Never Give UP, You can and WILL reach your goal.
Believe in Yourself and that is a start.

Here's what I ate today;
Breakfast was homemade biscuits and egg with sauted onion and kale and a few berries. That's 2 biscuits cut open with my homemade butter and natures hollow preserves on top.
Lunch was 2 pcs of romaine lettuce with a small pc of leftover steak cut up, 1/2 tomato cut up, avocado and a couple spoons of greek yogurt on top.
Snack I had a little So delicious vanilla sugar free ice cream.

It was SO hot again today - over 100. So while I was cooking my delicious chicken in the oven (Oh yeah-my oven is fixed- YEAH) I took all 3 furry girls for a walk. Even though my foot bothers me a bit, I still go every day.

In case I didn't tell you, on Tuesday I went back to the doctors and he removed the bandages and stitches and said I could wear regular shoes (if I can find some that don't hurt) and get it wet. So yesterday (Wednesday) was the first time in 3 weeks that I took a stand-up shower like a big girl. LOL

Dinner was broccoli and chicken. recipe here: Cheesy chicken
Desert I ate one of my Pumpkin-cream-cheese-muffins and a little RediWhip. OMG that tasted almost like pumpkin pie - ALMOST.

I got a new pumpkin muffin recipe I'm gonna try tomorrow or Saturday and I will post and let you know how they turn out.

Thanks for listening and have a great day and weekend.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. I also read your blog every day and have for almost a year but am usually too afraid to comment because I "fell off the wagon" for a long long time. BFC is the only way I've ever lost weight--I know low sugar is the key for me and I intend on getting back on that wagon. I just wanted you to know that I really really appreciate you taking the time to write this blog . So Thank you! Oh and I am going to try a pumpkin muffin with rediwhip tomorrow! Why didn't I think of that? LOL

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
