Exercise you Mind...

Hello Friends,

Not only do we all need to exercise our bodies everyday,  but we also need to exercise our minds as well. Walking is a great form of exercise by the way. Its free and for everyone. Its a way to get out and look at nature, birds, trees, or whatever is around you. If you get lucky, you will get to meet and say hi to a neighbor on your way. No matter how bad my day is - after my daily walk with my 2 furry girls, I ALWAYS feel better.

Our choices we make each day is a reflection of what we think of ourselves. Do you realize that? Keep that in mind as you eat your meals today.
Are you making GOOD choices?
Do you care about yourself enough to make sure they are healthy ones?

We all have good days and some not so good ones. What ever you are going through, Keep eating healthy no matter how you feel.

WOW! I have said this many times, but its really ALL IN YOU HEAD! Something has to click to be able to change your life completely like I did. I wish I could tell you exactly when and what it was - but I just don't know. All I know is after reading the Belly Fat Cure book - I just decided that "I CAN do this". And I DID.

Never give up - No matter what. That's All...

Last night I just ate a salad for dinner. Spinach, crumbled bacon bits, feta cheese, raw sunflower seeds and blueberries - with 1g of sugar dressing.
Breakfast this morning was my usual muffin made into pancakes ate with my homemade coconut butter and Nature's Hollow maple syrup.
1tbsp of ea. chia seeds, coconut flour, almond flour, flaxseed, coconut oil
1egg, baking pwdr, cinnamon, USVA milk, and a little vanilla -  and I threw in some blueberries.
Lunch was 2 of the Cauliflower-cheese-pancakes I made last week and put in the freezer. I thawed them out in the toaster oven and made them into pizzas with a spoon of sugar free pasta sauce, mozzarella and turkey pepperoni.
Its super hot today over here. Don't know what dinner will bring for me tonight. Hubby is working night shift again so maybe my good ole stand-by-when-I'm-alone-meal of wings and a spinach salad.

Thanks for listening and have a good one.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
