You know, everyone is always looking for that quick fix. They want to lose weight. But they want to lose it NOW, FAST, and EASY...
So for some people, they exercise 3 or more times a week and wonder why they are not losing any more weight or they are at a stand still - a plateau.
Then they decide this is not working and give up too easily and then look for the next Quick FIX.
I found out that you have to start from the inside of YOU then work your way to the outside. Fix the INSIDE first. You have to start with what you EAT FIRST.
You Have to EAT Healthy - to BE Healthy...
It's as simple as that. So easy right? Why didn't I think of that 25 years ago?? How do you think so many people stay so thin as they get older? They just change what they eat. That's all I did. I just changed what I ate and nothing more.
Sounds too easy??
Well there was a bit of work involved, at least at first anyways. I had to get used to eating healthy, fight the cravings, learn how to say NO to those food bullies, and look away - well at some times RUN away when I was around the BAD food.
I had to do this for me and no one else and that is what you need to do too. Do this for YOU an no one else. Do this because YOU want to be healthy and then the weight will come off after.
My weight bounces between 145-148 lbs. This morning at 147 and I'm just finishing my monthly, so not bad. YES I weigh myself every morning and even every night. Why? You might be asking? Well because I need to know how I am doing all the time. I need to make sure that I am not sabotaging myself with what I ate that day and it was not a big mistake. If I wait to once a week or so I will get a big fat surprise that I will not like at all. So don't be afraid of the scale. It really IS your friend.
My breakfast yesterday was eggs w/baby spinach, mushroms and cheese, berries and 2 Oasis toast.
Lunch was shirataki noodles, sauted mushroom and zucchini, 1/3 of a small tomato cut up and some turkey sausage crumbles, and the pasta sauce I got at sprouts (on Fave Products tab). GOOD!
Snack was the last pumpkin muffin and 1 chocolate cheese-cake muffin. I was feeling kind of sad so I just laid in bed and watched some TV shows I DVR'd.
It was still SO HOT - almost 100 yesterday so me and the 3 furry girls just went for a short walk.
Dinner was broccoli, 4 brussel sprouts and 6 meatballs w/alfredo sauce.
Desert last night was 2 protein bites and RediWhip.
This will be my last attempt to offer the video support group chat;
I was told that Google+ works well and you can do up to 12 people at a time so friend me on Google (rosaliehaggins@gmail.com) and we can set one up in a few days. If I don't hear from enough people I won't bring it up any more.
Thanks for listening and Big Hugs. Remember - WWRD??
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
