Happy Birthday Hubby...

Good Morning Folks,

Boy I certainly have noticed a decline in the blogs and comments lately. I know it does get hard sometimes to participate when things aren't going the way we want, but we all need to stay in touch with others with the same goals in mind to achieve ours.

The weather is awesome over here, its gonna be 85 today, but I probably don't need to keep just rubbing salt in the wound. All I can say is - Come VISIT...

So I have this app on my phone called ZombieBooth and have been literally freaking myself out. Seriously this is how I am feeling lately.
 We are still trying to get all the money we need to get the house. It is scheduled to close on the 10th and don't know if that's enough time, but the agent is trying to get an extension. It is stressing us out.

I think I ate too much yesterday cause my weight is up 5lbs this morning. You tell me - I don't know.

Pancakes for breakfast, the 3 flours with some chia seeds and a few blueberries in them.
3 for yesterday and 3 for this morning.
 For lunch I made a zucchini crust pizza and added some shredded onion inside, that gave it more flavor. I put some spicy hummus and turkey pepperoni on top.
 Today is Hubbys 58th birthday so I made him some Lemon Cheesecake muffins. It is also my grandson's in Michigan, Tyler birthday today.
 So the one in the front got kind of Bendy when I took it out and broke, so I just had to eat it with some Natures Hollow on top.

I didn't do much yesterday, hubby has been working nights now. I did a load of laundry, changed the sheets, made the muffins, picked up the doggy poopy and cut the grass for them then took the girls for a walk.

Came back and had a spinach salad and some wings. I shouldn't have at 8 but I guess I just didn't care. Then I even ate 2 protein bites and a little redi whip after. I guess that's why my weight is up today. Oh-well.

  1. The blogs are getting slow, but maybe it's just the "season"? I am sure glad to see yours all the time. It makes me happy! I hope things work out for you and your house. It is such a stressful process:(
    I may just try those cheesecake things. I am not a fan of cheesecake, but the crust looks good!
    I usually eat at least 5 wings when I have them, so 8 doesn't sound that bad:)
    We are having temps in the 60's with some sun, so I am not as bummed.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
