Join US...

Good Morning,

Well we never got the papers yesterday. She said the figures were wrong and had to correct them and have them re-do. So maybe today then it is all down hill from there. I was hoping that we could start things over there this weekend. We wanted to go over and hang the blinds, seal the grout on the tile on the floor, and hang the hanging shelves in the garage, before we actually move in. Probably not till next week. Oh - well.

My tummy still feels a bit stopped up, not going #2 as much as normal the past week or so. Not sleeping at all. I guess I am nervous and excited and lets not forget the dreaded hormones.

Breakfast yesterday;
that pumpkin muffin I made
lunch was quinoa, cut up pork that was left over, onion and zucchini, kale, a small roma tomato, celery and spices.
After I ate 1 chocolaty treat and my afternoon snack was veggie straws.

I packed several boxes and the furry girls and I went for a walk around 5:30.
dinner was shirataki noodles with broccoli and 8 shrimp
desert was a protein bite and rediwhip. I think I'm gonna make some of those (black bean) brownie bites today. I need to have some kind of sweet snack and those are the easiest I can think of and they are great with rediwhip too.

I decided a while back that I am not gonna comment on those BFC fan pages on Facebook anymore. They are so great for support and making new BFC friends but it seems like every time I comment, someone will come behind me and contradict what I just said. You know what I mean??

I love to help anyone that wants to lose weight like I did and that's why I do this BLOG. I feel that by being accountable and keeping track and sharing what I eat and all the support we get on our blogs - has been the absolute best way for me to actually lose as much as I did and being able to keep it off.

You need support for those times when you feel that it is just hopeless and it will never work. That's where we all come in and help you and remind you that you are not alone and we can give tips and advise on what has worked for US.

Join us and you won't be sorry - my blog list is to the right below.

Thanks for listening and have a great day.

My thought for the day:

Seven Ways to Have a Good Day

  1. Talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
  2. Look at the sunny side of everything.
  3. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best.
  4. Be as enthusiastic about success of others as you are about your own.
  5. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
  6. Give everyone a smile.
  7. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Love, love your seven steps to have a good day. I am going to copy it and read it as much as I can. I love my blogger friends, and I know I would have given up long ago without all of you. You inspire me, give me new ideas and you especially keep me going because you consistently do and eat what your are supposed to, you tell us everyday what you eat, so it gives me ideas, and you never give up. I'm up 2 lbs after all the wedding stuff, but today I had alittle time and I made pancakes and the cheesecakes are in the oven now. I wish I had more time to experiment and post recipes, but for now, I have to be a leech off of all of you and try things when I can. Don't have as much time to myself, but once the kids get back to school I hope to try more recipes out. Sending love and hugs to you. Can't wait to "see" the new place!! XOXO

  2. Thanks again for the great share! Ditto to Patti's comments :-) Still sending good vibes for a successful move 'it's so stressful' I know I have done it many times. It's inspiring how you keep up with the healthy choices through it all.

  3. I don't how you deal with all this uncertainty with the house!! That would absolutely drive me nuts, but you are so calm about it!

I haven't noticed any negativity on the FB groups lately. They are really active though, which is cool. I used to know everyone on there, but not now. Jorge's pg can get crazy negative, but a big part of that is his own fault. Oh well!

  4. I had shiritake noodles last night too (great minds). I'm a terrible mover ... stresses me out horribly. You sound very organized so I'm sure you'll have a smooth move.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
