Look at That face...

Hi Everyone,

I have been a bit overwhelmed with making that decision to not be personal on here any more. As I said before, Hubby never really reads my blog posts unless I read it to him. I guess he figures it's my personal thing. So he didn't know I decided that.

He came home from work yesterday morning around 7:30 am after working nights at the FD. He went to sleep and only slept for like 2 hours. I said why are you up? He says his schedule is so screwed up from working days and then nights - he can't stay asleep for very long.

I told him that I was still bothered by what happened and he sat and talked with me for almost 2 hours. Some of it loud (my hormones) and most of it not. He's a guy and his attention span is not that long - so for him that was a big deal. After our talk I felt much better.

He told me that we should do whatever we want and that I should say whatever I want on here as long as I don't mention any names. I never purposely try to hurt or offend anyone. We both feel the same way that our life is on pause right now while we are waiting for the loan to go through - fingers still crossed. Anything could happen. It is so frustrating. The waiting, and more waiting.

BTW we both decided that I should renew my Real Estate license. It has been expired for way over a year - Long story..Got a bite on a yob maybe - talk about it when and if it happens but it won't be for a while.

Today we are supposed to go to a house warming. I am excited because I haven't seen them since before I lost all the weight. I know she says she reads my blog sometimes so if you are- can't wait to see you!! I will let you all know what I ate there. Of course.

My tummy is hurting me yesterday and today. I feel like I am starting my monthly but nothing. UGH when is this gonna end? 53 is old enough don't you think? I have been having night sweats terrible lately and can't sleep. We just heard on the news yesterday that if you start menopause before the age of 46 - you have a greater risk of getting heart disease. So maybe that's why I am so healthy? LOL

See this is the face that all 3 of them do when they know its time to go for a walk. Mandy was just waiting and staring and smiling not so patiently. We walked 3 miles again and they did better.

 Breakfast was my pancakes w/syrup this time and berries. I love my healthy pancakes - YUM-YUM-YUM
 Lunch was the rest of the steak a little bit, 1/2 cucuber, 1/2 avocado, shredded cheddar, 1/2 of a small tomato, a few green olives with the jalapenos inside cut up and some spicy chipotle salad dressing.
 and a carb chopper wheat tortilla w/cheese and later I had 1 chocolaty treat.
dinner was a spinach salad w/cesar dressing, chicken cut up, the other half of the small tomato, goat cheese and bacon bits.

I just want to say that while I was losing weight I hardly ever ate cucumbers or tomatoes and never ate as much berries as I do now in the morning. I only ate like 6-8 blackberries or raspberries ONLY!! Never blueberries or strawberries until after I lost all the weight because of the sugar content. I tried to eliminate as much sugar as possible. I guess what ever I did worked.

Also I made some home made Almond Milk from raw Almonds - Go Figure - I will let you know how it turned out and tell you how you can too very cheap!!

  3. I think you should share what you are comfortable with. I personally have found it helpful when you have shared some of the tough stuff because it shows how we can't use STRESS and hard times as an excuse to eat bad. Have a wonderful weekend :)

  4. I agree with Katie and have found it helpful too to see how you deal with the stress and eating. It's hard not to talk about your day to day life when you are blogging. Real estate agent?! That sounds like the perfect job for you! I hope it works out.

    Starting tomorrow, just doing the no excuses day for 1 week to see how I do, then on to his other recipes.

    1. I don't now which one No excuses is - he has so many different ones now. I just follow the original Belly Fat Cure. Is that the one where you skip breakfast and only have coffee, cause I would not ever recommend you do that one. You should never skip a meal. :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
