Come Out!!

So I woke up this morning and kept hearing this real light music - I thought. Hubby was already in the other room which we made into an office for him. I know he had the TV on, but that wasn't it. I heard it while I was watching the News in Bed very lightly.

So I got up looked in my drawer, in his closet, in his and my night stand. I was like what the Heck!! Where is that coming from?? I went and got him and said come here and tell me where that is coming from? So of course as soon as he got there it stopped.

I thought It must be a ghost just messing with me. Then I was like - THERE!! Did you hear it that time? No he says. Then he puts his hand on my head and says: OUT!! Come OUT!. Oh yeah - funny, we were laughing.

So he goes outside downstairs and says it is a wind chime at the neighbors house right down below my window. ha-ha-ha. I thought I was possessed.

It's real windy over here today. At my sister and Maria's house in Altadena, they have had no power for 4 days. Her fence blew down too. Tons of people up there have no power. The winds blew down a bunch of power poles.

My breakfast this morning:
I made some Almond pancakes 1/2 batch and made them thinner with a bit more Almond Breeze, with butter, Josephs sugar free syrup, berries and turkey bacon. And of course coffee, coffee, coffee.

Yes I am still on a BFC - Jorge high. I posted my picture of me and Jorge on his Facebook wall and said it was so great to meet you and taste your delicious food and that I had a blast. And this morning on Facebook, he liked my picture and said it was nice to meet me too. Ha - how do you like that? So I guess he actually does check in there from time to time.

My lunch today:
A pizza made with a Carb chopper wheat tortilla, then some pesto sauce, baby spinach, mozzerella cheese, canned chicken, artichokes, avocado, feta and parmesan cheese on top. MMM, MMM Good.

Oh yeah and yesterday I did my nails.
White polish underneath and Purple - China Glaze shatter on top. I love the shatter's cause even with my ET's it looks messy no mater what kind of job I do. :-)

Well that's it for now. As usual, thanks for listening. WWRD??

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Doing What You Love

Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  3. Your chili (and this cold, windy weather) inspired me to make the chili tonight. I thought I had everything for it, but I looked in the fridge and forgot that I had used all of the garlic! Grrrr! Hubs said he would get some on the way home from work! I heard, from someone at work, that Pasadena's power has been out for something like 5 days! I feel so bad for them and your sister and Maria! Could you imagine not having power for that long? Hmmmmmm! Maybe I could use that excuse to get out of working with my boss, tomorrow! Probably not! LOL! Anyhow, congrats on the shout out from Jorge! He may be the brains behind the diet, but you guys and your blogs sure are the support system AND the cheering squad! :)

  5. You have funny stories! The other night I heard what I thought was a "thunk" on the front of the house. I was so mad at my husband because he wears ear plugs ( snored 30 lbs ago) and I have always asked him how he will ever know if someone is breaking in. I decided someone must have stolen the wreath off the front of the house so I was mad, mad, mad! I fell back asleep thinking "well when he gets the paper and there's no wreath" he will feel bad. So I wake up and my heavy blanket is laying on the floor (thunk) and our wreath was still on the front of the house. I told my husband I had been so mad at him in the middle of the night:)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
