Cooties and Feeling kind of fat....

Hello to all,

Today I went to see the movie called: CONTAGION. So all I have to say is that I don't want to touch anything ever again!! Don't come near me! Don't even look at me! And Definitely DON"T TOUCH or Breath on ME!!  OMG Cooties are everywhere. The funny thing is Hubby and I were saying, that  could totally happen.

Well anyway yesterday I was feeling real fat for some reason. I think I haven't been regular the past few days and that had a lot to do with it. It's funny when that happens your weight could actually be up by like 2lbs.

That has been a BIG problem for me and everyone else I have met online doing the Belly Fat Cure. Not getting enough fiber to go #2 regularly. No matter what I eat or take, it just goes that way once in a while. I think I pretty much have that down now, the fiber part. But - whatever..

I painted my nails yesterday this real pretty Purpley-Bluey-sparkly color I got at Wal Mart.
 \
So after the movie today, Hubby went to work night shift at the FD and I stopped at Sprouts (which used to be Henrys). They just fully switched over earlier this week. I went to get some natures hollow preserves, and some joseph's stuff, and a few other things. All the Josephs stuff was gone!! Off the Shelf!! I am not sure if I like this take over or not. I might just have to find somewhere else to buy all my healthy stuff.

To Amber about the coconut bread, when I eat the coconut bread I do eat it in place of my other bread or tortillas, but I still eat those too. I have not stopped eating regular stuff.

The coconut flour I buy is this kind
flour
I get it from sprouts. They don't sell the coconut flour in bulk, it sure would be cheaper cause this kind is like $6-7 a can. The last 2 times I made it I made 8 little mini loafs for 1 batch.
This one is the lemon, tastes great with some cream cheese and Natures Hollow - YUM!
The way I've been fixing it is on the recipe tab.

So I am not sure if all of you have gotten the latest email from Jorge or not. It had a link for his new book. I don't know when it's coming out. He wanted everyone's feedback I guess. Amber and I are gonna be in the book. I am WAAYYYYYYYY in the back, but what ev's.

OK well that's it for now. I plan on staying home tomorrow the 11th. I hope all of us has a safe day.

Thanks for listening. Lots of love for YA. Please don't forget to join and support all my friends blogs on teh list below. And - remember WWRD??

My thought for the day:

The Law of Emotional Choice

Emotional Choice Positive QuoteYou can’t expect to prevent negative feelings altogether. And you can’t expect to experience positive feelings all the time. The Law of Emotional Choice directs us to acknowledge our feelings but also to refuse to get stuck in the negative ones.
Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. That is just the reason I would be afraid to see Contagion. I already worry enough about stuff like that, lol! I think you and Amber getting into Jorge's book is GREAT! I might have to pick up a copy just for that reason! You both continue to be very inspirational to those of us that are still trying to make our weight loss goals!

  2. Cooties are "icky"! I wish I had the patience to sit through movies like you do. I am sure it is a lot of fun!
I am feeling kind of fat too and I don't understand it at all. Yesterday was my lowest weight yet??? We are just weird I guess:)
I'm excited for you and the book!

  3. Thanks for sharing your link to the book. I looked at all the pages and it was so not what I was expecting. Most of it was interviews with those other doctors and question and answers with them. I could not click and open the links to the meal plan. It is so different from the Fast Track book that some of us previewed months ago but by the Title this does not seem to be the fast track book, or is it? I am glad that he only suggests the fast track for 14 days and then suggests the Belly Fat Cure for life. If we would all just embrace this low sugar way of eating forever the ugly maintenance word would never even be an issue. I think when you think you have to do something different for Maintenance it sets you up to gain some pounds back. I love this way of eating. I think everyone should weigh every single day, that way there are NO surprises. We may not always like the number, but if you get used to seeing it go up and down all the time, it loses its power as long as we are still eating right. Rosy the after picture of you is beautiful and I have been admiring your ruffle top for months! ~M

  4. My husband wants to see that movie...he's already a germaphobe though. The previews reminds me of the show 24 a few years ago when they had that scary outbreak. I like weighing everyday. It helps me adjust eating and exercising better. I don't restrict, just make healthier choices. This week so far I haven't lost anything yet, but it is my TOM so I'm O.K. with it. I'm hoping for big numbers this coming week, especially since it's the week before we go on vacation. Monday's my weigh in day, so we'll see.

  6. When you make the lemon coconout bread how long do you bake it? The first time it was a little gooey, so the second I left it in longer and it got a little dry. Hubby and I are hooked on this bread. Have a wonderful day :)

  7. Katie, if I am making a loaf 40 min and use a toothpick to make sure its done. The mini loafs check after 20 min and use a toothpick. :-)

  8. Rosalie, thanks for your honesty here in your blog. I found this through reading your testimoney in Jorge's ebook he sent via email. I just got back from camping, downloaded our photos and GAGGED when I saw the one of my husband and me. I'm 53, 5'3 and 209. UGH! I hate all the weight I've put on and have tried the Belly Fat Cure off and on over the past year or so, but fail miserably! I'm starting again tomorrow and will check in on your blog for encouragement! If you can do it, I can too!

  11. Hi Rosy, I bought all the ingredients to make the lemon coconut bread that you created. Now that it won't be so hot here this week I will be turning on the oven and baking! I went to the Sprout's in Claremont, on Foothill, the other day on my way home from work and they have the coconut flour that you can buy in bulk. It was $2.99/lb. I didn't buy it, instead I bought the same one you use. I hope my bread comes out as yummy as yours. Oh and if you're interested, I signed up at a local gym in Ontario, they have Zumba classes in the evening 3 days a week, I would love for you to be my guest! Have a great day!

  12. Well what do you know? I had NO idea I was in that book. So funny, I actually signed on to be in the Sugar/Carb counter book (the smaller orange book). Once you sign those papers, you never know what happens!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
