I am feeling much better today - thanks for all the comments.
I wanted to share that I was watching the ABC news a little while ago and they were talking about what they thought was the best diet. Believe it or not, it was not the Belly Fat Cure. They said it is Weight Watchers. Some of the people said it was from all the support they get form the meetings I guess.
That is kind of what this little blog community is like. I have no idea where I would be right now with my weight if I never started this BLOG??? If I didn't virtually meet all of you through the computer??? If I was trying to do this all alone with no support or help or ideas from others???
I'll tell you where I would be....Like the before pictures of me - that's where. Big - Fluffy - and unhappy with myself. If you don't have your own blog, you should start one to learn how to be accountable and to just get it out there all about you.
I think it's real important to put yourself out there. Post pictures, your weight progress, everything. I know that is kind of scary, but that's what I did and it worked for me. If you mess up, talk about it. If you feel bad, talk about it. If you feel good, talk about it.
If you don't want to do your own blog, then join mine and all the others on the list below. Read them and leave your comments daily. Trust me - it will really help you and let you know that you are not alone. We are all in this with you.
I WISH - I WISH we could all get together once a week. We could do it at my house. We could all talk about the problems we are having on the BFC and find solutions together.
Well this blog will have to do. Just remember me when any of you are in Southern California.
Another random thought.... You know that list of foods in the back of the BFC book?? The one that list all the food with the S/C values?? Well just because something is in there doesn't mean that you should eat it. Like Tacos at Taco Bell. Taco Bell was my absolute favorite junk food before BFC. But just because he puts that you can eat 2 tacos, doesn't mean you should eat it all the time. Corn, Carrots, and tons of other stuff that is way too high in sugar should be omitted too.
I know The Belly Fat Cure is confusing, especially at first, but that is what we are all here for. To Help and support.
That's it for now. Thanks for listening. Lots of love to all. And don't forget - WWRD??
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
My thought for the day:
Love Transforms
End your day by privately looking directly into your eyes in the mirror and saying, ‘I love you!’ Do this for thirty days and watch how you transform.
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

I so agree. I think this time I will succeed because of all of you. I just wrote that on my blog a few minutes ago. I so wish we could all get together once a week too. Wouldn't that be great? I love you Rosalie and your blog. I'm so glad I found you!!! ( I sound like a lovesick teenager don't I????) And I ask myself alot....WWRD??? Funny thing is I usually know the answer! Hugs to you from me!
ReplyDeleteSupport is the key! I really think the blog community has helped so many people make sense of the bfc, and to stick with it. :)
ReplyDeleteAmen, sisters!! To all of it!!
ReplyDeleteI feel blessed to have become friends with everyone! I agree with support being a huge part of this journey.
ReplyDeleteHere's a story when I first got the book and was reading through it. It has listed the Hungry Man chicken dinner and it was within BFC guidelines. I'm thinking, dang....I would be happy to eat that every day! Then I look at the grocery store and they have a brownie, corn, etc. Really? I was smart enough to realize it wouldn't be that easy! Barely smart enough because it sure sounded good. I think he needs some fact checkers!
It is great to have all the bloggers support. That is what I loved about Weight watchers and the meetings was all the support. But we get that here in our blogger community and it's free!
ReplyDeleteAmen to all of this!
ReplyDeletehi Rosalie. i just cant go without the goodness of fresh fruit and grains. what do you sugest? thanks for the support!! u go girl...!!
ReplyDeleteI was tentative about blogging at first, and putting myself out there, but everyone is SO nice and supportive!! It has really helped! Plus I learned WAY more about the BFC on these blogs then anywhere else.
ReplyDeletesupport is key. When you don't have it, it's easy to slip up. Sorry I've been such a stranger. Dealing with my Parents has become a fulltime job!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to have to make the coconut bread! Rosie, have you replaced all your bread with the coconut bread? Have you been buying the coconut flour in bulk anywhere? I got a bag at Whole Foods a while back, but I think it would fast! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know that I do WW, and I do believe that they keys to my success so far have been going to the meetings with my sister, my incredible leader Pam and a few other friends that I have met at my Sat morning meeting, and all of you!!!! It makes sucha difference to have that commeraderie and although I dont do the BFC, I still feel like i belong here becuase we all support each other & cheer each other on no matter how we get there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being my friend!
Hugs to you Rosalie!

What I love about all these BFC blogs, is the fact that no one judges you - we just nudge each other in the right direction. Great support! Keep it up BFCers!
