Monday Starting week 28: The Belly Fat Cure

I had a hard weekend. My Hubby and I are still settling in our new home. We have been busy doing work around the yard and were hanging some curtains. That is time consuming and trying to decide what goes where. And arguing about what goes where. Still not even close to being done, but hopefully soon.

The past week I really wasn't going down in my weight, and that got me thinking - maybe that's it. Maybe I'm not going down any more. Then I weigh in this morning and I'm 1.5 lb down from last week, and I'm starting my monthly. Now I'm 184 lbs, thats 54 lbs down so far. I surprise myself when I say that out loud. Wow! That's a lot of weight that I have lost.

I know Jorge will never take any time to read my blog. I do this for myself and my own accountability and everyone else that is doing the Belly Fat Cure with me. I really want to help anyone else that is doing this with me.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns that I might help you with. I am so proud of you all for trying to loose weight with me. I have 34 more to go to get to my goal.

Thanks for listening. Lots of love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.
Share - how much weight do you have left to loose??

My thought for the day: Lets support one another!! We can do it together!!

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Thank you so much for doing this. I started out at 233 and have lost 59 pounds. I was starting to worry I was done losing weight. But after reading your blog I have some hope. I am going to try those shirtaki noodles and try tofu as well. Thanks for all the tips and keep going. I still need to lose another 34 pounds.

  2. Rosalie, you are definitely an inspiration.. I've read some of your posts on Jorge's facebook page. Any tips for someone who is losing extremely slow? I dropped three pounds and am up 2 pounds now. I don't feel as bloated but I'm slow on weight loss. I'm feeling extremely discouraged because everyone seems to be losing so much and I'm not. I have 60 pounds to lose in order to be "healthy", so with me being big, I thought I would lose more easily at first. I'm following the 15/6 and drink plenty of water. Do I need to restrict calories as well? I know the book said not to exercise, but I love exercise and have started again. Any tips you want to share would be greatly appreciated. Anything I post on Jorge's Facebook page is never answered. You have done an awesome job. Congrats and thanks so much for listening.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
