Hi Everyone,
My name is Nicole. I had the opportunity to meet Rosalie, back in December when we got to meet Jorge and do a video with other BFC friends. I had been following her blog for quite some time, so it was fun to meet her!
I started BFC back in 2010 on june 1. It honestly didnt seem like something I could lose weight on, but I said I'd give it a week. I'm glad I did. I lost over 5 pounds. From that day on I've continued to this day to live the BFC way. In 6 short months I was able to lose 86 pounds, along with 15 inches off my waist and wear a size 2!
I currently fast track, and have been since Oct/Nov. That helped me lose a few more pounds and 3 more inches. 15 months now, that I have maintained my weight loss. That is nothing I can say about any of the other countless plans I have tried. I love that BFC is a way I can eat forever and know that im not dieting.
The more you stick to it, the more creative you become with meal ideas..and drinks too.
Anytime I leave the house, I always have snacks on hand. Usually almonds and cheese sticks. Sometimes even my almond milk and cream in baby bottles for my coffee. I dont trust all creamers at certain places!
The biggest challenge really is being around other people who try to convince you to just have a tiny bite of whatever it is there offering. For me, it's not the temptation that gets to me, it's trying to get the word "NO" across! There will always be that someone who wants to bring you down!
Now I continue to write this blog for you to offer Support, Weight loss tips, and Healthy Recipes.

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
I hope this helps.
