Friday of week 27: The Belly Fat Cure

Man was I craving eggs this morning. I ran out about 3 days ago and I've been too lazy to go to the store. I have gotten so used to eating them almost every day, I felt weird without them. So I jumped in the car around 8am and went to get some.

So for breakfast I had 2 eggs and a pita pizza made with sara lee wheat pita, seeds of change pasta sauce and cheese on top, 2 cups of coffee w/truvia and cinnamon and Metamucil and my tbsp of Barleans.

Lunch I had a tuna salad made with a can of white tuna, olive oil flavored mayo, lettuce, bacon bits, feta cheese, and croutons. And for desert I had 4 Josephs sugar free cookies.

Dinner I made some fake spaghetti. Made with shirataki noodles, some cooked hamburger meat, and some seeds of change pasta sauce and Parmesan cheese and tapatio hot sauce on top.

I really feel like I am eating healthier than I ever have since I have been on the Belly Fat Cure. Once in a while I miss some things, but I can live without them.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
