I hope you all had a great Father's day with all the types of Fathers in your lives. As many of you know my dad passed over 2 years ago. My brothers live in Michigan and Hubby had to work tonight - AGAIN! He's been working a lot.
My breakfast this morning.I made one of my muffins with 1 tbsp of each: coconut flour, chia seeds, flaxseed, almond flour, 1 egg, some USVAMilk, cinnamon, baking pwdr, cinnamon stevia drops, a few blueberries, and some crushed walnuts
I made a batch of coconut butter yesterday and put some on top with a few berries.
When we got back Hubby went to take a nap and My lunch today was a Almond Crust pizza. Tasty.
I am still getting used to the oven - it's electric and not gas and it runs super hot so I burned half of them, but they still tasted good anyways.
Hubby's daughter and boyfriend came over for a visit, but they came super late and got here at 4:15 and hubby had to leave at 5 so he could not visit too long, but they stayed for a little while with me. Guess who they brought?? My little RAT!! She was so happy to see Peaches and Mandy and of course ME.. They also had a new wiener dog called Zeus and the 4 of them ran around and played and had so much fun.
The brought over some wings and I ate a few and of course 2 more of my cookies. Do you notice anything missing from my diet today?? UH - Yeah! Shame on me - no green stuff today. Well I will have to make up for it tomorrow and have a bunch.
I am watching the Borgias and TA-DA - True Blood is back on tonight Baby... Yeah...
For all of you new people;
I still eat the same way I did while I was trying to lose weight in the beginning with the following exceptions now, I now eat a few strawberries and blueberries - while I was losing I never did because of the sugar content. I might eat a couple bites of carrots every now and then and never did before, I eat more tomatoes now and put them aside before because of the sugar.
I actually tried to avoid anything that had sugar while I was losing. It is not gonna be easy giving up so many good tasting foods at first to try to be healthy, but I promise it will get easier and soon when you start to see all the weight come off like I did - you won't even miss them any more.
But if you do... Just do what I do and have 1-3 bites of that 1 thing that you love and really miss and then STOP... I have done this from the beginning and it really works. DON'T have cheat meals or cheat days. That will through you completely off.
Just remember that when you get to the weight you want to be - DON'T eat any different then you did to get there.
I am not on a DIET - I just eat HEALTHY now.
