Making a Small Dent

Hello Friends,

Thank you for always being there for me. It's so nice to see comments when you are having a bad day or in my case a bad couple of months. LOL

I feel better today. Got a little sleep - not enough but I know I slept some cause I had a dream. It's funny but you will never guess who was in it. OK I'll tell you, Tom Arnold. Don't even ask me why I have no idea.

We are making a small dent in things and I actually think I can make it so we can pull our cars in the garage. We are those kind of people that always make room in our garage for our cars. That's what they are for right? My car was new in February remember and it is getting sprinkled on every morning in the driveway from the sprinkler.

All morning I was ignoring HIM cause I was still upset. But you have to let go sometime right? I am responsible for my actions and I can't go around angry all the time, it's just not healthy.

Breakfast this morning was eggs w/sauted baby spinach and cheese, a carb chopper wheat tortilla w/cheese and some berries.

Lunch we went to Islands and I had a half chicken cesar salad and a few fries.

We went to the local Sams Club after and every time I Hubby come with the bill is like $100 more. Ha always throws stuff in the basket that I never get. $231 today Yeesh!!

Came home and worked on the house and garage a bit more then took the 3 furry girls for a 1.2 mile walk then came back and ate dinner.

Hubby wanted these we found at Sams Club. 1 patty had 9 carbs and less than 1 gr of sugar each.
I ate a spinach salad and probably shouldn't have but ate 2 of them. Then I read the box and it said 190 calories each. They were sooooo GOOD!
Our first glass of wine together in the new house. Boy did I really need this. I just might have another :-)

I promise to try to be more upbeat like I usually am. I can't let stupid stuff control my life.

I want you all be successful in your weight loss journey too so if there is anything I or any of us can do to help, just ask in the comments and we will all do our best to help as always.

Thanks for listening and have the best day you can.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Life is a Canvas

Live is a Canvas Positive QuoteLife is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can. Danny Kaye

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Love the thought for today. Thats a motto to live by!

  2. Sounds like things are getting alittle better. I know what you mean about the dreams. That's how I know I sleep sometimes by the dreams I've had. And I say the wine is a good thing...you know I love my wine!!!! Sending love and hugs! XO

  3. Hey can you change my weight please...
Crystal @ 217...after 6 months of eating non stop I topped off at 230....but now I'm at 212 woo hoo... Something finally clicked....

  4. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Moving is stressful and it's nice when things start to get back to normal.

  5. It's OK not to be upbeat all the time. We all go thru stressful times and its good to get it out sometimes. Plus it shows how you can still eat healthy when things aren't going right. Those crab cakes look good and so does the wine!

  6. I've been thinking about making crab cakes ... this post sealed the deal ... off to buy some crab meat :) Glad you're feeling more up beat today - have a nice weekend :)

  7. Ups and downs are part of the natural cycle. Here's to an upswing :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
