Just another few days and all this will be over.  Then I can start to heal. I can't tell you how wonderful my husband has been.
I don't think I have been eating enough because my weight this morning was at 145.5. I am going to try real hard to eat 3 times a day but its hard.  I just feel so incredibly bad.
Yesterday I couldn't even talk on the phone.  I just turned it off and laid in  bed.
I am just checking in to let you know I am still here. 
Thank you all for being there for me. It means a lot.


  1. I'm glad that you blogged. I worry about you. Do what you can do to get through this hard time so that as you say, you can start to heal. Food has a way of finding it's way back to us:)

  5. Rosalie- there are so many of us who follow your blog whom you don't know. I check in often to see how you are doing . We care about you because you have opened yourself up and we relate to much of it. I am so glad your husband is there for you. If your son could talk to you now and know your heart I'm sure you could both heal. He has a different perspective now and most likely has much he would say to you to help you.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
