Know that it WILL WORK!!

Good Morning Folks,

How is everyone doing weight and diet wise today? I currently am only a couple lbs up (2-3) and considering all I have been going thru I am surprised. Today is Thursday right? Oh today is my brother in Michigan's B-day - better call him.

This process for the house is taking way too long. Every time we are told that is all they need - she calls and asks for something else. But the part that PISSES me OFF to no end is the fact that I have sent that stuff to her at least 5 times already!! She is so Stupid and dis-organized and will never get any referrals or repeat business from me or anyone I know.!

The longer I do this (meaning the BellyFatCure) the more I see some really struggle with it. I believe that once you get the hang of it, it should be simple and easy - like second nature for you.

Once you figure out how to spot the bad sugars in foods and learn what is healthy and not healthy to eat - it should be easy.

The several of us that have lost a lot of weight by eating this way (over 80 lbs) have done so by not counting calories. Just by counting Sugars and Carbs and trying to make sure we get enough fiber. I think you are making things too hard for yourself by counting calories on the BFC. It's not made for that.

If you are faithful and do it right: It WILL Work!! KNOW THAT!

So stop using the MyFitnessPal's and go back to the original BFC book. If you have a lot of weight to lose or even not a lot - start with the original book.

Stop listening to every FAD that comes along that tells you that THIS is IT!! This will work!

Just Eat Healthy!! Cut out all the processed CRAP and artificial sweeteners and STOP eating out so much!! Eat at home more where you actually know what you are putting in your mouth!

We are all so different and there is absolutely no reason to give up wheat completely out of your life unless you have Celiac Desease. JUST MY OPINION. I eat wheat at least 3 times a week and it absolutely does not cause me to ache, or get sick or make me gain weight. It does not bother me in any way!! So this wheat free thing is not and does not have to be for everyone.

Make sure to eat protein and Green Veggies every day!

What I ate yesterday;
Breakfast I made a muffin w/1 tb ea. coconut, almond, and flaxseed flours, it looks dark cause I put cocoa in it and topped it with some of my home made Almond butter, eggs w/some ham and cheese and jalapenos inside.
Lunch was 1/2 cucumber and 3 green olives w/jalapenos inside sliced up, a can of chicken w/a bit of mayo and feta cheese inside.

I got antsy and made some Cheesecake muffins and of course ate one for my snack w/Natures Hollow on top.

Put some chick breasts in the over and me and my furry girls went for a 2 mile walk. I pooped them out after. ha-ha
Dinner was a chicken breast and spinach salad w/ bacon bits and feta cheese and some 1 gm of sugar dressing. Oh yeah and 2 small glasses of red wine.

Desert was some RediWhip in a bowl and a few blueberries sprinkled on top. YUM !

My thought for the Day: I stole this from my newest favorite Nutrition - Fitness expert.

Stop following your favorite celebrity's diet plan. Just because someone can lose weight does not make her a nutritionist

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. I know exactly how to be successful with this lifestly of bfc-ing, but sometimes its the will power and the accpeting part of me that hesitates, but I am a believer my friend! I dont ever really eat crap anymore! I used to drink cinnamon roll lates everyday at work (I work at a coffee shop) and always had a muffin or two, and cookies etc. at our coffee shop! I cant tell you when was the last time i had a latte! It's been over 4 months now! Thats a big one for me! A BIG ONE! I also used to love coke! I havent drank a regular soda for so long as well, i think last time it was about 2 months ago and i only took an itsy bitsy zip and was disgusted by how sweet and unatural it tasted...Ive def. cut out a lot of things in my diet that not most college students can do and I am very damn proud of myself for the achievements I have made!

      Thanks for always blogging!

  2. Great post and to the point. We are always looking for an easier, faster way to do things. I lent my books out, but asked for them back and I am going back to them. You are right. This will work if we work it. I have dinner plans out next week, four nights in a row. Lots of our friends like to get together over dinner, so we do that alot. It's not easy, as you know, to stay on the plan and eat out alot. I'm doing my best with that. I am up 2 lbs. I slipped after the wedding and am finding it hard to get my mind back in the right place. But I keep coming back to the blogs for support and motivation. Thank you for that. Oh and I like that you had some wine with dinner. That will help your stress level!! Hugs and love!! XO

  4. I agree with you Sistahfriend! However, I do feel that not every diet/eating plan is for everyone. I do believe that the BFC is specifically for those of us that put on belly fat. Weight Watchers did not work for me, Atkins was a very slow struggle as well. I think for those trying the BFC and find it not working, should try something else. Just my opinion. ; ^)

  5. I have recently just added my weight back and a lot in my belly! Did you just keep up with sugar and carbs and write everything down in a notebook? I have got to get back in control of my eating habits and always say when I get finished with this event then there is always another event right behind it. I have just got to do it and quit waiting on the right time.

    1. Linda you need to keep logging everything you put in your mouth until you get the hang of it. That means looking at the labels of everything over and over again till you remember it right.
Don't listen to other people - do this for YOU!! You can do it :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
