It got me thinking that kind of is what the Belly Fat Cure is like. I must admit it is not for everyone. I think it is, but others don't feel the same way. When I started way over a year and a half ago, I just though - WHY NOT? What the heck do I have to lose. I can't get any fatter, can I?
As I went on in the BFC, as you all know - we get stuck sometimes and the weight stops coming off. But I never stopped what I was doing at all. I just kept doing the same thing hoping, no - BELIEVING the this would work if I just kept at it.
Well - guess what happened by me just believing in the BFC? I lost 88 lbs, that's what. Granted it was at a slow rate, but now I realize that was for the best on my body. I feel great!! I even look pretty good now, except for the jiggly parts. LOL!!
I really thought by getting to my goal that I hoped that I would get to a size 10 maybe. But to my surprise, I am now a size 8, and I fit into a 6 but have not actually bought anything in that size yet. Chicken I guess. I couldn't even have hoped to fit my big toe into a size 8 before. And - CHA!! Look at me now..
So I'm gonna tell you things that I have many times before.
NEVER QUIT!
NEVER GIVE UP!
IF I CAN DO IT - SO CAN YOU!
and now my new favorite....
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!
OK so on another note, Hubby is not gonna juice all the time, he's still gonna eat I hope. And I wanted to show you the pictures of my new furniture that took so long to pick out.

Thanks for listening. Lots of love to all. AND Remember WWRD.
My thought for the day:
Voice a Positive Thought
Whenever a negative thought concerning your personal power comes to mind, deliberately voice a positive thought to cancel it out.
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

Hey Rosalie. I love your blog and have to believe that it works! I sometimes get frustrated because it seems like the scale doesn't move, or moves too slow! But, you said your progress was slow so that makes me feel better!! I keep sticking to it and hope I have great results like you do! BTW- for everyone... I made the chocolate chip pancakes from Jorge's book today and did NOT like them... anyone else try them? The soy flour is gritty and nutty... I guess some things can't be substituted (for me, anyway). Hope all is well with everyone...keep up the good BFC work!
ReplyDeleteI love love love the furniture!! Me and my hubby are looking for a good deal on a sofa just like that. One day we will get around to purchasing I hope. :)
ReplyDeleteI need to say that to myself everyday NEVER QUIT, Never give in! Maybe one day it will stick in my brain too. :)
Thank you from one of your slow losers! LOL! I just read your blog on the beach. Too hard to comment in the sun. I thank you today and everyday for doing what you do best...motivating your followers. What a great leader you are! Hugs from me to you! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI love that table! How neat and unique! It's hot here today, too, but only 85. :) Getting ready to kick the boys out into the pool. Have a great afternoon!
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right Rosalie - NEVER give up and keep on doing what you're doing! This morning I was 212.2 lbs... I started at 267 1 1/2 years ago... that's 54.8 lbs gone!!! I'm a very slow loser but I'll take that as long as I'm losing. BFC is really an easy way of eating once it becomes a habit. Thanks for your support and encouragement Rosalie; you truly have played a role in my success with BFC! Ru
ReplyDeleteAbout your comments about faith... I know my journey has been easier because I do have faith, not just in myself, but in God. In fact, I don't know what I'd do without my faith. We are going through some tough times right now with illness in the family, etc., and I have leaned on God throughout. BFC has been great and I believe I can do this with God's help. Thanks for your insights and encouragement to all of us.
ReplyDeleteI'm not giving up! Just get frustrated from time to time. I wanted to tell you and Dawn that I made the cinnamon coconut bread today with the extra egg and 1/4 tsp of stevia instead of the Truvia. It was SO good! I liked it better than my first batch with the cocoa in it. I really do think maybe that extra egg made a difference in that it is moister now. Yum!
ReplyDeleteThe furniture is lovely. I do beleive that weight loss is a never give up kind of journey & I am not finishing til its done this time!
ReplyDeleteLove the new furniture! Hubby and I used to juice all the time until our juicer broke, I guess that's a good thing because all the yummy juices are super high in sugar. Is hubby juicing to lose weight?
ReplyDeleteI also found that soy flour is gross, I wonder if the recipes in the book would be good with alomond or coconut flour.
Rosalie, great choice in the furniture I really love the coffee table. You have so much to be proud of. I would be out buying clothes all the time. I know us slow losers will take it off some day soon.
ReplyDeleteKatie... good point about subbing a different kind of flour for the soy. I still have yet to try the coconut bread... maybe that will help move things along for me (and move the scale down!) Thanks for the great blog/support!
