Size 14 is not Obese..............

Hello All,

I will just start with what I ate - then talk.

Tuesday, breakfast; 2 eggs, 2 turkey bacon, blackberries, a smart & delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese.
Wednesday, breakfast; 2 eggs scrambled w/sauted onion and mushrooms, and a hand full of Jimmy Dean sausage crumbles & cheese, some cottage cheese and blackberries.

Tuesday lunch: a salad from Chipotle grill of, lettuce, black beans, spicy beef, cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole.
Wednesday lunch;a pizza made with Sara Lee wheat pita, cheese, seeds of change-romagna 3 cheese pasta sauce, turkey pepperoni, and a spinach salad w/feta cheese, bacon bits, balsamic dressing.

Tuesday snack: some veggie straws dipped in a little sour cream
Wednesday snack: a handful of walnuts and a pc of colby-jack cheese

Tuesday dinner: sauted spinach in EV olive oil and garlic, and some meatballs w/seeds of change-romagna 3 cheese pasta sauce. 2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate for desert.
 Wednesday dinner: fish w/ asparagus and zuchinni. 2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate for desert.

Yesterday I was watching the Wendy Williams show. She had on Kelly Osborne. Remember when she looked a little heavy? Well Wendy asked her what size she was back then and what she is now. I can't believe she was a size 14 and now a 0.

That really disturbed me. First of all half the women in the world are a size 14 and up and who the hell wants to be a 0??? Why would you even be proud of that??? They were making it seem like 14 is OBESE or something.

That is why we all feel so bad about ourselves sometimes - because of the Media. Size 0 is not normal. In fact, you would look like a child.

Sometimes I look down at myself and think that I still look Heavy. I know that's weird right? I look down and see fat thighs. But when I see myself in a picture or in the reflection of a store window, I say - Do I really look like that? Wow I look small....

I guess no matter how we work on the outsides, it is not easy to get the insides used to the new outsides. I guess it will take time for my Middle-Heimer brain to get used to it.

  1. I think your thighs, in your new picture, make you look very athletic, and fit! That picture of you is amazing, the dress is beautiful, and you have come along way baby! I could be a size 0, but I'd have to go under a knife, and no thanks, I like the struggle that I'm having from a 14 to a 7, one of these days I will make it. I don't think bones are very attractive, but then again I've not seen my in a very long time, if ever! Hugs to you Rosalie.

    I just had the time to enjoy your video's.
    They made me very emotional,,, You have helped me more then you will ever know. I felt like you were talking right to me. It's so kind of you to share your success with everyone. You look great and you are so pretty. Help,,,On the video for Chicken Pesto Pizza. I missed what you put on the pizza after the shredded cheese and before the chicken. My hearing isn't that great anymore. I replayed it twice, still couldn't get it. I have been eating 10 blackberries with some Redi Whip. Never knew they were so good, You talk like you write in your blogs, Thanks again, Linda

  5. I have been watching your videos and want to say you have really helped me to get started. As of today I'm on BFC. I shopped all day yesterday, but can't find many item here in Texas. OW lite bread for one. Oh well.

    As for miss Kelly Osborne, she doesn't look like a 0 to me. I have friends that are 0. The more the cloths cost the smaller the size on the tag imo.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
