Just a bit Shakey..........

Hello to all of my BFC friends,

First I would like to address all the comments from yesterday.

Welcome to all the new people. I know you will love the Belly Fat Cure as much as I do. Any questions or help that you need, just leave them in the comments below and we will all do our very best to help you succeed at this.

I am glad that everyone has figured out what went wrong with the commenting thing.

Everyone that is going thru some not so great stuff right now - Please remember to separate you emotions from your food. It gets easier as you go along on the BFC.

@Sue: Yes I take many vitamins every day. Here is a list:
I use Clear Benefiber in my coffee every morning
I take a multi for women over 50
2 calcium w/vitamin D
1 fish oil
1 evening primrose oil
1 in morning and 1 at night of black cohash
2 probiotics - Natural Factors, acidopholus and bifidus 10 billion

Reslina = instead of me trying to explain - go to the webpage. it has tons of info.

My finger is a bit better. The doctor gave me some Lamasil pills for fungal infections and I am taking 1 every day for 6 weeks. It loos better already.

@Debbie: A lot of the products I use can be bought thru the Amazon.com widget on the left. I know it is more expensive - but health is expensive. I have found that out. Keep looking for a bread that fits the BFC. That's what I did until I found the Oasis bread (on my products page). You can order that right from their website I think. Just make sure to look in the ingredients when buying stuff and make sure it has no artificial sweeteners in it like Sucralose.

@Pattie: I see what you mean that you like Google Reader, but If you log into your Google dashboard, all the blogs that you follow are on there. You can add more to you list there and see any new posts, click on them and comment that way.

Anyone who has started a blog - PLEASE follow this blog and leave your blog address below in the comments below. I will try to help get some more supporters over your way.

This journey is not easy for some and we need to support and love each other the whole way through. So follow and comment on all the other blogs on my list below so we can be there for each other.

I know I have mentioned this before, but here is a link for getting nutritional data in foods: www.nutritiondata.com
Also I use this application on my Motorola Droid X phone called: Calorie Counter, it looks like a little yellow scale w/feet on it. It has been very helpful to me the whole way thru. It has many, many, foods and tons of restaurants so while you are out you can check that food first before you order it and see if it has too much sugar/carbs in it.

Yesterday I ate:

breakfast; 2 egg w/sauted mushrooms, little onion, baby spinach, cheese, and a handful of sausage crumbles, and a scoop of cottage cheese, and 8 blackberries, coffee, blah, blah, blah.

lunch: Hubby was working nights and the FD and wanted to go to see that movie called Super 8. Today, Saturday was gonna be a running errand day so we went. It started at 12 noon so I did not have any lunch. I had some popcorn in a box and a pc of string cheese from my purse and a handful of almonds. We snuck into another one but it was not that great.

When I got home I checked my email and then took the dogs for a walk. When I cam back I was very, very shakey and tried to fix myself some veggies (asparagus, mushrooms, zuchinni) w/ frozen turkey and alfredo sauce.

A while back when I went to the doctor  told her that I thought I was getting Parkinsons like my dad had (or so he was told). She informed me that I had Tremors. We decided to wait and see when it got worse I would tell her.

Well last week when I went to see her for my finger I told her that it was getting way worse and I already looked it up online and it said that it starts around the age of 45 and up and sometimes hereditary, and makes you shake when trying to do a task such as drinking water or trying to feed yourself with a spoon or fork. Which is what is happening to me the past several years.

It also said that it is often mistaken for Parkinsons. HMMMM - maybe my dad only had tremors not parkinsons. I'm pretty sure he was mis-diagnosed.

It also said it is aggravated with stress and fatigue.

I am telling you this personal stuff just in case it is happening to anyone else. Sometimes I get embarrassed because my hands shake around others. Not all the time - just when I am trying to do a physical act with my arms or hands.

There is medicine I can take - but she said it will make me tired. So for now I am trying to deal with it by holding stuff with 2 hands.

Well thats all for now. Thanks for listening. Lots of hugs for all.

This is PurpleRosy signing off....

My thought for the day:

Happiness is an Attitude

Happiness is an Attitude Positive QuoteHappiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same.
Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. Thanks for answering all the questions. I like the google dashboard. Thanks for the tip. Also since you turned me on to the jogtracker for the droid, I have another question. Do you listen to music when you walk? I have an ipod but don't want to take my phone and my ipod and try to hold onto three dogs! Was wondering if you can get the ipod music onto the droid. I'm sure there's a way, but I would have no idea how to do it.

  3. Pattie - I use the program called Cardio Trainer and yes I listen to music on my phone, it comes with a chip to give you more room to load stuff. I gave my ipod to my hubby a long time ago.

I also use this program called:MP3 Music Download. I lets you download songs for free right to you phone. :-)

  5. Sorry to hear about your tremors. Health problems are always scary. I just ordered the resalina and cant wait to try it. I wanted to use the buy one get one but it said I had to spend $50 to be able to get that deal. So I just ordered the one to see if I like it. Do you know when Jorge's new book is coming out?

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
