I Sent my info to Jorge

Hello Everyone,

OK - OK - OK, so I sent in my info to Jorge. We shall see..... I feel GREAT and love to share the gospel of the BFC to everyone. What ever happens - happens.

Thank you so much for all your support. You don't know how much it really does mean to me. Even though I have been doing this for a while, we all really need to support one another.

Traffic school was very fun today. I was expecting horrific movies of torn up, mangled bodies. It was a small class of only 12 of us and the teacher. We just all talked about all kind of traffic and driving rules and other stuff. She actually let us out early. It was supposed to be from 8-4, but we got out at 3pm.

Last night it was raining so hard I took a video of it and posted it on YouTube so you can all see it really does rain over here in California.

There is a ledge over our back door that had a mesh covering it and the mesh fell off last week. I told hubby that there was bird poop everywhere on the ground and now the birds were going on that ledge cause the mesh fell down.

Last night when the rain stopped I went outside and to my surprise I saw something awesome. Up on the roof was an owl. A Real OWL!!  I said HOLY SHIT! It's and owl not a bird! Then the owl turned its head and looked at me and took a big poop and flew away.

Once again I was too slow to get the camera. Last week it was the 3 ducks in my pool now a owl on my roof. What will be next I wonder??

Today I ate:
breakfast; a smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, 1 fried egg, and 2 turkey bacon inside. I ate it in the car on the way to the class with some coffee.

snack; 8 blackberries that I put in a baggie.

lunch; went to Wendy's down the street and had a cesar salad and some chicken nuggets thingys dipped in ranch.

snack; ate a few nuts in the car on the way home.

dinner; went to Applebee's w/hubby and had steak and broccoli and about 4 buffalo chicken nuggets. and a glass of Merlot.

Tomorrow my sister Lisa is supposed to hang out with me. We'll see if she actually calls or not. I know she is tired form her new job at the hospital. (remember she is a nurse)? Hubby is working tomorrow.

  1. Did you know Owls are a symbol of good luck? That's what they say over here when you see one, that you're going to have good luck! That's cool, must mean you're gonna be on Oprah! Hehe!

  2. Cool you saw an owl...for awhile we were living on a farm and an owl hung out all the time, he was so cool. Glad to hear that you got traffic school over with...in mine we saw some funny you tube clips called suburban monkey...super funny, we just looked at them tonight with my folks. :) have a great day tomorrow, hopefully Lisa calls and you have a great time with her.

The owl is suppose to be a simple of good luck, I heard that too so maybe you will be getting some good luck with something soon. :) Hope your weekend was good. :)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
