Tuesday of week 41: The Belly Fat Cure

Hello Everyone,

I just got back from voting. I moved 4 months ago and I have been waiting for the booklet to come in the mail at my new house. It never came, so I looked it up online and found out where the polling place was in my new area.
We went there this morning only to be told that we are not on the list.
We were told to go to the old place.
We went there only to be told that we are not on that list either.
So they said we could vote - provisionally. Which means out of the area. What ever!
We are lost in Limbo I guess.

Well back to the BFC. I have noticed that my weight is not going down very easy right now. I have been the same weight for 2 weeks now. I'm not gonna let that bother me at all. I still think I look great in comparison to before I started the BFC. I REALLY,  REALLY want to get to my goal of 150 by the end of the year. I am trying real hard!

I'm never gonna give up!! But I just want you to know, that even if I never go down another pound - I can live with that!

Listen, don't forget about our Year End Goals! Keep posting your weigh - ins, even if its not what you hoped for. We can all support each other.

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; uncle sam's cereal w/unsweetened almond breeze, truvia, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, 2 cups of coffee w/truvia, powdered coffee mate, Benefiber, cinnamon, all my vitamins, Barleans, Natural Factors, Reslina.
lunch; 2 Morning Star veggie turkey patties, stuffed into a Sara Lee wheat pita, w/cheese, avocado and mustard. It was good!
snack; super seed w/water
dinner; stir fry veggies w/tofu, Braggs, curry powder and a touch of sesame oil. 1 square of ghiradelis 85% dark chocolate.

I always go walking every day at least 1 mile or more depending on my mood. But I always go.

I meant what I said yesterday, If anyone needs any help or has questions or just a friend, just send me a message on Face Book and we can talk on the phone.

Please support all of our fellow BFC 'rs  blogs on the list below. But, you all do need to write on them every day for us to read them!!

Thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFC Friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:

Happiness in this world comes from thinking less about ourselves and more about the well-being of others. Unhappiness comes from being preoccupied with the self.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Hello! Way to stay motivated even when the scale isn't moving! I lost 1.4 pounds this week. So I am down to 211.2. I am listed at the top of your list.

    Thanks - Susan

  2. Rosalie - Great attitude - maintenance is a goal too. There are too many "diet" that you lose and then 6 months later, you know how it goes - the weight is back. I'm trying to think of a no gain week as a good thing.
Thank you so much for posting your meals. I just bought Braggs and had it tonight with spinach, edamane, broccoli - its was awesome!!
I have cut out carbs, added in carbs with high fiber - I have tried everything to drop the last two and NOTHING. I have lost a total of 18# and in reality I could be at the weight I am and be fine - its just a goal # and I'm kinda a determined person. So we will all keep on BFC'n

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
