Yesterday a few people were asking what to eat on a busy schedule. So I am gonna give some suggestions for stuff that is fast.
Hopefully we all like those Smart and Delicious wheat tortillas? I always have some on hand. They are great when in a hurry.
You can fill one with about 3 pieces of turkey lunch meat or and some cheese and mustard and some baby leaf spinach. great for on the go!
or tuna and mayo and cheese and baby leaf spinach.
You can fill it with eggs and cheese and 2 slices of turkey bacon for breakfast.
You can make a quesedilla for breakfast.

Sara Lee wheat pitas are also great for something fast.
Fill both halves the some way or use it like bread and toast it and put some butter and natures hollow sugar free preserves on it.
Or butter and some sugar free peanut butter.
or some cream cheese and natures hollow sugar free preserves.

2 oz. of walnuts makes a great snack. You can never go wrong with nuts.
Lots of cheese comes in individual pkgs. Just check the label to make sure it is 0/0
Celery with sugar free peanut butter or cream cheese on it makes a great snack.

Keep a large tub of baby leaf spinach around to put on your wraps or pitas or for a salad.

Sometimes if I go to the movies I will take 2-3 pieces of turkey and put a string cheese in the middle and some spinach and a bit of mustard and wrap it up like a taquitto in plastic and eat it when I get there. That way I can get some popcorn to go with it.

I thought I looked pretty skinny today, So I tried to take my own picture again.....
Thanks Darlene for another pair of capris..:-)
My weight went up like 2 lbs because of my monthly, but today it is back to where it was on Monday, 173.5 lbs. Yeah!

Don't forget to eat 3 times a day!!
Make sure you eat veggies every day!!

Well thanks for listening. Lots of love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:
Begin with the small stuff
The person who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Rosalie, Thanks for posting your quick and easy meal ideas. I know I have to eat on the run alot of the time and it can be tricky. I eat alot of the whole wheat tortillas with meat, cheese , mayo, mustard and spinach and they are really yummy. I also use 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds for a snack. I really love them and eat them almost every day. Salads are always easy to take with you to. I eat alot of salad with egg, meat and cheese, lots of veggies and a little low sugar dressing and you got a good meal. We dont have to make this plan difficult there are lots of easy things to make. I cook recipes from his book on the weekends to take to work during the week.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
