Thursday of week 33: The Belly Fat Cure

Hi everybody,

When I write this blog, I feel like I am having a conversation with all my closest friends all at the same time. I love sharing my experiences on the Belly Fat Cure. And if it helps anyone in the process, well so be it.

This morning I seem to be down another 2 lbs. I can't count it until next Monday, because it will probably go back up again. Well at least for today I am down to 176.5. So I will be happy for today. That is what I was talking about yesterday. Just like AA, take it one day at a time.

Sometimes I keep thinking that I am done losing. I think - I can't possibly lose any more. Then my weight goes up like, 1 pound. Woopdiddydo! Then in a few days it goes down a couple lbs.

Listen; we have to stop being so dramatic about gaining 1/2-1 lb overnight. It's really not a big deal. When you think about the big picture.
Just think about how far we all have come in changing our eating habits.
We have taken control of our lives for the first time!!
We are in control of our destiny!
We will be able to look in the mirror and like ourselves for the first time in a long time!

This is our new BFC Moto:  We Can Do This!

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast: smart & delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 eggs, 8 blackberries, 2 cups of coffee w/truvia, clear metamucil, half and half and cinnamon. And of course all my vitamins, Reslina, Barleans
lunch: I was out at Chilis, had a griulled chicken breast w/broccoli.
snack: super seed w/water, and a hand full of walnuts
dinner: made a foil pouch in the oven w/ fish, onions, mushrooms, and 5 asparagus spears. and 2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate.

Don't forget to post you weight progress and food ate. If you would like to join our weight loss progress chart to the right, just leave your info here and I will add it so we can help each other and cheer each other on.
Also don't forget to visit and support all of my fellow BFC 'RS blogs in the list below.
Thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day;
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you’ll never walk alone.

Keep on BFC 'n  :-)

  1. Again great blog. :) Yes WE CAN DO THIS!! I love that motto. So far today I ate 2 slices Healthy life toast with 2 tbsp of low sugar Jif pb for breakfast and for lunch I had a wendys spicy chicken wrap. I am still at 208, due to some fiber issues (LOL) I can't eat much fiber because it hurts my stomach and with the light eating I am doing I guess im not digesting fast enough possibly. Last week was a great weight loss, but I suffered from stomach pains so this week I have lightened the fiber causing slower weight loss I guess.

Sorry I babbled on about that, hehe!! Sometimes I get started talking and my fingers won't stop typing. I enjoy reading the blog and typing as you said, I feel I am talking to a group of friends that can understand what each other is going through and that is great. Everyone keep up the great work! We are here for each other.

  2. I am hoping to see a great loss this week. I have been following Jorge Cruise over 40 plan this week to see if that would jump start a weight loss. So I usually eat 2eggs w/toast for breakfast and lunch is whole wheat tortilla with either turkey or tuna, lettuce, cheese and a little mayo and mustard. Dinner is chicken, fish or beef with either zucchini, greenbeans, broccoli or a little bit of potatoe with cheese. I get a little bored eating the same every day but I happened to weigh (which I promised myself not to for the week and could not stick with it) and I seem to be down a little over a pound. I dont want to get to excited since Monday is still a few days away.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
