Friday of week 35: The Belly Fat Cure

Hello Team BFC Club,

How is everyone doing today?? Is everyone doing good on the BFC today? or do you need some help with anything? If you are stuck or feel like you a little lost with the BFC, please leave your comments below with what you eat and what help you might need and we will all do our best to help one another.

We are Team BFC Club and our Motto is WE CAN DO THIS!
Anyone can join us. We love everybody no matter what. We are all here to help each other.
Join us in our year end goal - post your current weight and your goal weight that you want to reach by the end of the year and I will post it to the right on our chart.

Please welcome our newest member, Angela to our club. She and her hubby have been doing the BFC for a while and need our support.

I am not sure what is happening to me this week, but I woke up this morning and am down another 1/2 lb. I was 173.5 today! Don't get me wrong I love it. But I am afraid that I will wake up on Monday for my weekly weigh-in and my body will go...psych!! Just kidding.. and I will be back up to 176. Well we will see.

Yesterday I had the best time!! My hubby's sister, Kristee lives up by San Fransisco and she is visiting in Pasadena at Mom-in law's house this week. I spent the afternoon with her and her 2 beautiful girls. We got the privilege to go on a horse. My hubby's brother took us to a friends ranch and we all got to take turns on a horse. I have never been on 1 for 25 years. It was so much fun and I was even able to pull myself up on the horse all by myself!! If I would have tried that 64lbs ago - maybe not.

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; eggs w/ 2 strips of turkey bacon, 1 of those Orowheat  wheat thin buns w/butter and natures hollow sugar free peach preserves. 2 cups of coffee w/truvia, half and half, cinnamon, clear metamucil, all my vitamins, Reslina, (I always take 2 of those Natural Factors acidopholus and bifidus. I forget to put it) and Barleans.
Lunch; tuna w/mayo, cheese, on a sara lee wheat pita, with romaine lettuce.
snack; cheese and a few walnuts, and super seed
dinner; grilled chicken w/veggies and 1 1/2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate.

Please support all of my BFC friend's blogs in the list below If you are not on there, leave your blog address and I will add it to the list.

Thanks for listening. Lots of love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:
You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. You are such a role model for us other women looking for encouragement. How well you do.
I have a message with great meaning I wanted to share. It makes so much sense but I didn't think of it, the lady that was on my exercise video said it at the end of the session when I was in pain and wanted no more. She said " don't think of the past, it is history, don't think of tomorrow, it is a mystery, think of the present, it is a gift." I really like that. It made my pain more manageable. Something else to dwell on.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
