Friday of week 25: The Belly Fat Cure

Wow! I can't believe the weather we have been having over here in Chino Hills, CA. It's been over 100 the past 3 days. We don't have ceiling fans in our home yet, so we have to keep the air conditioning on all the time.

I haven't been able to go for my daily walks with my 2 dogs because of the weather. But I still have been getting exercise because of all the up and down the stairs all day. Still putting stuff away, you know.

I had a great quesadilla for breakfast this morning. I warmed up a smart and delicious tortilla in a pan, put on some mozzarella and cheddar cheese, cooked 2 pieces of turkey bacon and broke up and put on with some spinach leaves and some avocado. Folded in half - YUM! with coffeew/truvia, half and half, cinnamon, and metamucil.

Lunch; I made a little brown rice, with some cooked chicken pieces and broccoli and put in some chicken bullion flavor. It was good also and I drank a Zevia coke. I know that probably was 3 servings of carbs, but I usually only have 3-4 a day so I figure its ok once in a while.

I guess you can say I'm kind of lazy. I just want all of my meals to be real easy and fast to prepare. I feel that it is enough on me to try to loose all this weight. I don't want to have to plan meals or have hard recipes to prepare. But that's just me.

Thanks for listening. Love to all my BFC friends.

Please leave your comments an tell me what kind of meals you prepare on the Belly Fat Cure.

My thought for the day: I'm just having a brain fart I guess. No thought for today - it's too hot!

Keep on BFC 'n :-)

  2. Hi Rosalie! I am restarting the BFC and I am taking your advice and keeping my meals simple. Today for lunch I had a smart and delicious tortilla with chicken pieces, pepper jack cheese, and spinach leaves. Delicious. I also tried zevia black cherry soda this week. Loved it! You are a great inspiration and thank you for being so faithful about writing your blog!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
