What's up People??
I really feel like I have this obsessive compulsive disorder about the scale. I weigh myself every day. I guess I really just can't wait to see if my weight went down. I have been doing real good lately. I think I found my groove. My only concern is, that just like in the beginning, maybe my body will adjust again and I will have to adjust my food intake even more.
I was watching the Dr OZ yesterday and they had this mother and daughter that were trying to loose weight. He told them that the way they were doing it, that they would probably fail. They would need to start eating a bit more. They would eat like only 600 calories a day. He showed them how to eat smarter. I already get that part - I learned from Jorge.
I am very excited to say that I went down 1 more pound as of this morning. That makes 41lbs so far. I know you can't see me but I am crying virtual tears of joy. I know that's allot right? I can't believe I let myself get so big. I remember when my daughter was like 5 or 8 maybe (she's 32 now) I weighed 145-150. That is after 3 kids and I looked good! I can't wait to get down to that again.

My thought for today: I just want to that Jorge for showing me the right way to eat, and I want to thank my Husband for believing that I cold do this. But in reality it was and is all up to me.I am doing it!!

How to convert Sugar to Stevia

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

Have you done the fast track belly fat cure?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure that the Fast Track would be right for me. I believe that we need at least a couple of carbs a day to be able to do this right. That way we won't gain it all back when when we do eat carbs. I have done Atkins before (which sounds the same to me) I lost 10 lbs but as soon as I ate regular again I gained it all back. So I don't think the Fast Track is a good idea. Just my thought. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Fast Track has plenty of carbs but they are from vegetables (and some in dark chocolate, too). I am doing it now. Just started this week. I have 10 lbs to lose and Atkins did not really work for me. I ended up staying at induction level and I think my metabolism just froze.

ReplyDeleteabout adkins and south beach, we do lose but the trick is not to eat mormal again. thats the problem. we start normal and gain it all back .as with any diet we cant eat normal ever again. some of our bodies are not meant to eat carbs even good ones. I talking breads noodles cereals.
ReplyDeleteI am doing ok on Fast Track but I just started on Monday. It's not that tough for me because I was already eating similar, low carb, no grains. I am going to weigh myself on Monday. I did a little tweaking here and there. Like today, I didn't have chicken with my salad because there was no chicken (finished it yesterday) so I had 1 scrambled egg with cream cheese instead. I also was eating a little extra dark chocolate at night. It is so good, I have trouble stopping at just 2 squares :).
