Wednesday of week 12: Belly Fat Cure

Yesterday I had a pretty bad day. I am having alot of things go wrong in a short amount of time. Before BFC I probably would have been depressed and ate alot. I was waiting for my piece of chicken to finish cooking in the oven for dinner and I was very hungry. I ate my spinach salad while I was waiting and was still hungry and couldn't wait for the bird so I fixed 1/2 cup of instant mashed potatoes (Jorge says its OK). I ate about 1/2 of that and it sank in my stomach like a rock. I am not used to eating carbs for dinner.

Well, I talked to my daughter on the phone, she lives in Michigan and I live in California . She always makes me laugh and by the time I hung up I almost forgot what was wrong. But she did tell me - Mom don't go and eat!! The thought entered my head for a split second, then left just as fast.

I wanted to show you how how great this felt. When i wore this belt I had to put it on the last hole and it was so tight - I hated to wear it. The last time I put it on (after the 1st BFC month) I had it on the 2nd hole Woo Hoo!! Today I put it on and LOOK its on the 4th hole and my pants are falling off!!!!! My thumb is on the 1rst hole.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
