Very Tired...

Hello,

I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I have been working so hard on the new house going back and forth in my car loaded up with stuff many times every day. The past 2 days Maria came over to help - and what a big help it was having someone to help me. Hubby has been working days every day this week. His car is done now and it will cost us a ton to pick it  up in the morning.

We should be moving all the big stuff on Monday. Just me, Hubby and 1 of his friends. Then I will come back over here to clean all up before I give them back the keys - good riddens to this place.

The other day I got an email from this lady of First for Women Magazine. She said Jorge gave her my info and wanted to do an interview - but of course she never called me back. I guess she wanted other people instead - like usual. I guess I'm too old or not the right look!

To be honest I am not even sure why I do this blog anymore. I don't hardly see any participation here or in The BFC so much any more. My fellow bloggers get it I think. Its a bit disappointing. I don't know - I will think about it some more.

Maria and my breakfast the past 2 mornings.
This one was Kale, mushrooms and eggs, avocado and 2 slices of my zucchini-cheese-coconut flour bread.
I have been eating what ever I can that is healthy for lunch. Yesterday it was burgers wrapped in lettuce and some fried zucchini, and today it was 2 tacos.

I did manage a small walk with the furry girls today when I got back from taking Maria back, but yesterday and the day before I just couldn't. I am so exhausted I feel like I
m dying - but I know I'm not.

I just can't wait to move into the new house on Monday. It is so beautiful and quiet compared to here.

Have a nice day.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Keep on BFC ' n   :-)

  2. Yup, I have noticed the drop off too. I know I've gotten busy the last month, so maybe others are too. Keep your chin up, and keep on supporting your readers - I'm sure they're all out there! You are an inspiration, even to those of us who no longer follow the BFC as a diet plan.

  3. You can't even think about not blogging until you have been in your new home, gotten lots of sleep and have a totally clear head to think! OK?
You keep so many people going, I guess like I said before, maybe it is just a good journal for ourselves. It seems we have less to say when we are being naughty!
The end is in sight....can you see it?

  4. I for one would miss your blog terribly. I get so much encouragement and knowledge from you. :)

I meant to ask ... do you have a great area for you and the furry girls to go walking at your new house? I sure hope so since the three of you love it so much.

Good luck on the last lap of your journey into your new home. Take time getting settled and hopefully you will decide to keep blogging in the future.

    Blessings to You, Rosalie,

    Linda in Western NC :)

  6. Don't stop now! Yesterday was my last day of teaching and I was just thinking about how now I would have time to read your blog everyday! I also think a lot of people might read it, but not always comment like I usually do when I am busy.

  7. I get it about the blogging. But I realized that as much as I blog for everyone else, it also helps keep me connected to the way I want to eat and all the good things I learned through the blogs and the BFC. I saw that Amber got interviewed for that magazine too. I don't know why they wouldn't call you back. You are the only one that consistently still blogs about the BFC. Don't stop. We all might go back to our old ways without you. Love hearing about the house. Keep posting photos!! XOXO!!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
