Who has an-IN?

Hi Friends,

We are still having such great weather over here in Southern Cali. A very beautiful past week for sure. The winters here (if that's what you want to call it) are the best. We live kind of in the middle of everything. We are an hour from the Beach, an hour from the mountains if we want to go to the snow, and an hour fro Downtown LA if we wanted to go see a fancy play and dinner. The best area for sure.

During the past week there were 2 houses that we liked and wanted to put in an offer, but if you have been following this stuff on the news lately -  after only a few days on the market there are multiple offers of every house. You really have to be careful because they are getting out of control and maybe over bidding. So we had no chance. It is getting a little disappointing and depressing.

We are trying to be patient and still waiting for the Short-sale but with no answer yet, we are starting to think after over 3 & 1/2 months we are not gonna get that one either. Its hard when Hubby has been working so much OT and when he comes home - he absolutely HATES it here where we are renting. He hates the area and how small this house is - just everything. I really try to appreciate everything - I really do.  For those of you that have an IN with the big guy upstairs - maybe you can put in a good word for us??

My weight is good and I am back to being between 145-150 which is where for my height of 5'7" is perfect for me - I feel.

Here's what I ate yesterday;
breakfast was one of my healthy muffins and some berries.
 Lunch was 2 cauliflower muffins, a small tomato and 1/2 avocado cut up and 1 pc of toast with my homemade chocolate-hazelnut butter.
 Me and the furry girls went for our daily walk around 5ish.
My dinner was a spinach salad with avocado, bacon bits and goat cheese
 and a hotlink. I like these but they are FATTENING so can't eat them too often.
after dinner I ate the - last-lonely-2 protein bites that were in the freezer...Lonely NO-More. Yummy in my tummy and now I am gonna have to make more this weekend I guess.

I hope you all have a great weekend and remember to eat well no matter where you are and what you are doing. Don't let the FOOD BULLIES get to you.

    Your food looks great as always!

    Keep hanging in there with the whole house thing. I have and will continue to pray for you. I'm a big believer that everything happens for a reason. If the short sale doesn't work out, it's because God has something EVEN better in store for the two of you.

  5. Well for some unknown reason "He" listens to me a lot so I will put in a good word for you:)
    I really hope the right house is just waiting for you and it will be perfect. This has been a long journey for you and I hope the last house will be the one that you love.
    So housing prices are going up in CA? Or is it just in the area that you want to live?
    Good job on getting the weight back down, do you want to come and get some of mine? I will be happy to share!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
