Yesterday I ate:
Breakfast; 2 eggs, turkey bacon, berries, and 2 lemon coconut flour muffins w/cream cheese and natures hollow |
Then I made a batch of these chocolate chip cookies and ate 2; http://purplerosy.blogspot.com/p/cookies.html
I really like these. |
Dinner: I put a bunch of baby spinach in a bowl, some alfredo sauce on top w/ some shredded beef and some mushrooms cut-up and microwaved it for 3-4 min until the spinach and mushrooms were cooked. Then I put some shredded parmesan cheese on top. Sorry I was too hungry and forgot to take the picture.
desert; 2 squares of 86% dark chocolate and some rediwhip in a bowl.
This morning I feel better, still sore but my weight is back to normal. See I told you my weight goes up and down like 3 lbs over night all the time. So if that happens, don't feel like it's the end of the world if your eight goes up 2lbs. OK??
My breakfast this morning; some left over greens and chicken form hubby's mom's house and a lemon-coconut flour muffin w/peach natures hollow on top.
So Maria is finally gonna let me take her to that deli called Canter's Deli in LA that my Dad always wanted to go back to before he passed. Today her and I are gonna go for lunch. I'm gonna call Sally (hubby's Mom) and see if she wants to go with us too. I will take pictures for you. I know I've seen Jorge post a picture that he was there one time. It's a pretty famous place and is real old.
So Hubby has been working the day shift at the FD this week and magically those cookies that I made yesterday are almost gone. I only ate 2 and the batch made 22 so that's 20 left and this is what was left this morning. LOL
Oh Well at least he was nice enough to leave me a couple.

P.S. Rosalie, I have gone back to eating wheat again! If you remember me, I was having trouble with my weight and belly when i had gone wheat free!

ReplyDeletehey rosalie, this is one not computer literate bfcer who has lost the capability to post comments on your blogg, so i will leave it on face book! the almond crust pizza is awesome-i did eat 1/4 the recipe and was amazed at filling it is as well as how the flavor improves over night just as fully carbed pizzas. i cannot tell you what the support system of this site as well as all the others means to me and my walk on the bfc...have a wonderful day w/maria as you honor your dad by doing something he longed to do...may it be filled w/fond memories:)
Great post today. It felt very happy. I'm glad you and your sister are making the deli trip. I went NY for the holidays & didn't get my knish fix. :( They're probably not BFC-friendly anyway. Lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about trying your pizza recipes.
That's good that you are going to the deli. I hope that it is a healing experience for all of you.
ReplyDeleteThose cookies do look yummy. I can see why your husband couldn't keep his hands off of them.
I'm glad you are making the trip to the Deli. Hopefully the trip will inspire lots of beautiful memories about your Dad.
ReplyDeleteI looked at the Deli after you posted it on facebook. I am excited to hear what your menu choice was!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of your encouragement!
