Well Hello Friends,
It was a nice day today bet 60-65 and mostly sunny. I went today to visit Maria and go to her church with her. They has a preparedness fair and we sat thru a few classes. One was on earthquakes and one was CPR and we got a bunch of pamphlets.
My lunch yesterday was a spicy meat lovers pizza. I love these and so easy to make.
Hubby was at work and I went to look at another house. This one had great potential but we still like the short sale house we are waiting for the best.
On the way home I picked up my furry girls at the furry hospital. They both were put to sleep and had their teeth cleaned, but peaches had 2 small bumps removed and came home in the CONE-OF-SHAME!!. She cried all the way home. They were both pretty loopy. I got Mandy to go potty and drink water - but Peaches just kept bumping into stuff and Cried and cried and CRIED!! She wouldn't drink or potty. She tried to go to her favorite corner to lay down but bumped into the wall and just stayed like that with the cone facing the wall - she did not know what to do.
It was a tiny bit funny but I felt so bad I took off the cone and got her to drink and potty then they both went to bed in the bedroom around 5:30 all night. She feels better today- but still feels bad from the stitches in her head and on her shoulder.
My dinner was a tiny bit of chili Hubby left - GEEZE thanks dude!! So I mixed it with a pkg of shirataki noodles and a handful of baby spinach.
And of course desert was 2 protein bites and some rediwhip.
Breakfast this morning was 2 pcs of Alpine valley 12 grain toast w/butter and my homemade almond butter, eggs, turkey bacon and berries.
For lunch I was at Maria's before we left to the fair and I ate a small bowl of some soup she made, a tiny salad and 3 tortilla chips.
On the way home in the car I ate some almonds in my purse and 1 square of 86% dark girhadelli chocolate.
Dinner tonight was a few brussel sprouts, broccoli, and some turkey medallions.
Well I don't know what I'll have for desert tonight - but you all know I am still addicted to my sweets even now after all this time - so it will be one of my healthy treats.
Have a nice rest of the weekend.
This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
I hope this helps.

Poor furry girls. Hopefully they will be back to normal soon.
ReplyDeleteThat must say something about your chili if there wasn't much left!
Do you freeze the protein bites or just refrigerate them?
I guess the more houses you look at the more you'll know what you don't want!
Yes I keep them in the freezer after I cut them up. That way I can eat 2 at a time and there is no rush to use them up.
DeleteHope peaches feels better soon! Still haven't made those protein bites. I'm afraid I'll overdo it! XO
ReplyDeleteHope your babies feel better soon. ;)
ReplyDeleteSo funny about your husband eating the chili! It's only funny because I try to get my family to eat less sugar and carbs, but they won't and when they eat my stuff, I get upset that they ate my stuff but won't commit to the lower sugar lifestyle....I swear my husband pours juice right in front of me just to piss me off! I hope peaches is feeling better soon! It's bad enough when your kid is hurting, but even worse when your precious animal is hurting because they don't understand....brings tears to my eyes! Just giving my guinea pig a bath today (to keep the mites away) makes me sad....She hates it and looks at me like I'm trying to drown her. Of course she gets lots of treats and love when were done ;)

Poor little Peaches... Hope she feels better soon. There's nothing worse than when our furry friends don't feel well :(
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I am dying to make your meat lover's pizza. I'm putting it on my meal plan this week for sure!!! Looks delicious! Have a great day :)
