A Special Day...

Hello Friends,

Yesterday was such a beautiful day again over here, around 75-80. It was Hubby's day off and he wanted to go to a short-sale meeting at the Board of Realtors. I should have gone but it was too early and I was not prepared so I stayed home.

My breakfast was some pancakes made out of 1 scoop of strawberry protein powder, 2 eggs, 1 tbsp each of cream cheese and coconut flour. These came out better with the little bit of coconut flour.
When he got out of the meeting he came home and got me and we went to Chipotle for lunch and I had a salad with black beans, carnitas, cheese, salsa, and guacamole of course.

When we were done I got the email I was waiting for from my new Broker. He has to sign the form for me to join the Inland Valley Board of Realtors. We went home and got the forms from my email and went over there. Holy Cow was it expensive to join. The good part is that they have an app now for my smart phone for the Supra Key. Really cool.

So I am ready now - who wants to sell their home?? Since Hubby has his loan license now we are gonna be a tag team. He will do the loans and I will do the Real Estate side. I can work from home for the most part unless I need help and need to go to the office.

After everything we stopped at Sams Club for a few things, I got a Rotisserie chicken, some salad that has Kale, swiss chard and spinach- nice, and some blackberries.
So our dinner was a salad and chicken and a small glass of wine.

So today is my son, Aaron's birthday. It has only been 4 and 1/2 months since he has passed. I am trying to just not focus on the sad and keep him in my heart and memories.
I made Hubby and I some turkey bacon and a muffin. They had 1 tbsp each of chia seeds, coconut flour, almond flour, flaxseed, coconut oil a little USAM, cinnamon, 5 drops of vanilla stevia and 1/2 t baking pwdr. I put some blueberries in both and mine had some crushed walnuts.

He didn't even complain and said he would eat what ever I made. We were gonna eat and he came over to me and said we are gonna say a prayer. I was surprised cause he never does this. He started saying thanks then started crying and prayed about Aaron. I was very touched that he did that for me.

I have lots of love for you all on this special day. Thanks for listening and be good.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
