Hello? Anybody out there??

Hi Friends,

Hello? Anybody out there?? Well there doesn't seem to hardly be anybody blogging or commenting this week. I thought I would just share what I have been eating. the past 2 days.

Breakfast Wednesday
 Lunch Wednesday; very good!

A Chicken crust pizza.
1 can of chicken, 1 egg, 1/2 c of any kind of shredded cheese, garlic, a little ea. of italian spices and red pepper.
Mix together and shape 1/2 on parchment paper on a pan, I put baby spinach in the middle and then put the rest on top, with jalapenos on top and bake at 400 for 15 minutes.

Me Peaches and Mandy went for a over 2 mile walk. It was such a nice day. My Step-daughter is home for a short while and she took Olive yesterday for a week. I must say that the house is so calm and quiet without her here. Well she is a Rat...LOL

Dinner was wings and broccoli and brussel sprouts, and 2 protein bites for desert.
Yesterday I made another batch of Chocolate-Hazelnut-Butter. My Favorite.

Breakfast this morning, egg whites with spinach and cheese, turkey bacon, blackberries and Oasis toast with the hazelnut butter.
Lunch was a almond crust pizza - got kind of burndy a little. Left it too long under the broiler after but it was still good.
I made some brownies down the page on my blog here: http://purplerosy.blogspot.com/p/recipes.html
with some butter cream frosting for the top.
1 pkg of cream cheese, 2 tb butter - melt a little in the microwave, some vanilla about 1 t, 1 pkg of stevia and 10 drops of vanilla creme stevia.
I have lots of frosting left over in a container in the fridge for some muffins or toast later.
As you can see I ate one - YUM!
Dinner tonight is some turkey and a spinach salad. No desert, already had that earlier.

Thanks for reading and listening as usual. Have a nice week and weekend.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. I'm here! I took all my Christmas decorations down today and I am ready for the new year and better eating habits! You are such a good girl! I have been, for the most part, but I am eating too many rolls. I have one more big family dinner planned and then I will be ready for a routine again.
Thank you for keeping up the blogging:)

  4. I'm here too! It's been crazy around here with the holidays. It seems our Thanksgiving holiday eating was much easier than our Christmas holiday. My struggle is never with the sugars but the carbs were harder to control. I probably went over by 1 or 2 servings per day, but now we are back on track for the most part. I never did get to make any desserts for us and I really missed them! Thanks Rosalie for being there for us, it really helps so much!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
