Shocked and Heartbroken

This was the post I wrote out to post on here in the morning, but I got shocking terrible news about an hour ago. The time now is 12:10 am Tuesday morning. I just found out my 27 year old son Aaron died tonight due to a motorcycle accident. Please keep him in your thoughts for me.

HI All,

Yesterday was a bit boring so I decided to go shopping. The Wal-Mart over here is nothing at all like the one where I used to live. The food section is much smaller - me no likey.

I am very happy to say there is a Sprouts not too far away and YES they have the Oasis Low carb sprouted flaxseed bread I love so much.

The weather is still hot but now humid too.

Here's what I ate;
Breakfast was 2 cheesecake muffins AGAIN (they are just too good) w/nature's hollow, turkey bacon, avocado and berries.
Lunch was a Carb-Chopper wheat tortilla w/cheese, baby spinach, chicken and horse raddish mayo.

No snack I was out at the stores got home and put everything away and was missing these so much I had to start a batch.
OH - How I MISSED YOU!! Muwah...
I forgot the vanilla but you don't even notice. I ate some after my dinner and my tummy was doin the Happy Dance - Big Time.
Kinda Looked like THIS!!
The furry girls and I went for a walk as usual.
This is Peaches newest Favorite place to lay and sleep. She loves it.
They love the doggie door so much, they get to stay in the house while we are gone. It's so hot lately. They never potty in the house. I just shut the bedroom doors. They are happy girls - for sure...
My dinner was a spinach salad w/ steak cut up, goat cheese, cesar dressing and 3 green olives with the jalapenos inside.

Have I said lately how happy I am to eat this way? All the healthy recipes I have found are so good and I LOVE what I eat. That's why this is so easy for me.

I am a Sweet FREAK for sure
  That's me - Ha-ha

Don't get me wrong, It took me at least 2 months for my body to get used to eating this way, I struggled and help my tummy every night in hunger pains, but one I got over that hump - It was Gravy - Baby.

Don't think that you can have a cheat day and just jump right back in. It will be hard for you. DON"T DO IT!! You will just throw your whole system off. Just do my 1-3 bite rule.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Stick with it - You CAN do it!!

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
