Hello Friends,
I have been trying to do the best I can. It is hard sometimes all I just want to do is lay down and cry. Yesterday morning after breakfast and balancing the checkbook I got an overwhelming sad feeling and just went to the bed to lay down. After a few minutes Hubby came in and laid behind me and just held me and said nothing. Last night he asked me if I wanted some dinner. I said no and he fixed me some anyway and made me eat it.
Broccoli, cottage cheese and tomato and a steak which I only ate half of.
This morning I ate 2 toast and 2 poached eggs and berries.
Around 1-ish he kept asking me if I was hungry and I kept saying no, I was just laying on the chair in the living room crying. So he went and made me some lunch and made me eat again. Chicken cut up, cucumber cut up, and 1/2 avocado.
He took off many days of work just to stay with me. I don't have any idea what I would be doing right now if I didn't have him.
I asked him to go to the stores with me cause I feel kind of dizzy all the time and don't want to drive. We went to Sam's Club and then Sprouts then home.
I ate 6 buffalo wings and a spinach salad for dinner and some redi whip and 2 small protein bites for desert.
I want to thank all of you for always saying such nice things to me that I need to hear right now. I know some of you are having a hard time on the BFC. LIFE IS HARD!! But eating doesn't have to be. It isn't for me. Those of you that are hiding in the wings and never comment - come out and join us. I promise what ever you are going thru, YOU will feel so much better with support.
We are a BFC Family here and will always be there for one another.
My thought for today:
Whatever mis-communications or problems you might have with your loved ones - FIX IT NOW before its too late. Tell them that you love them.
Thanks for listening and as always Keep on BFC ' n :-)
Now I continue to write this blog for you to offer Support, Weight loss tips, and Healthy Recipes.

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
I hope this helps.

Wise words my friend. I'm glad hubby is there for you. I hope knowing we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers helps in some small way. I don't think losing a loved one and the pain that goes with it, ever gets an easier. We just get better at handling it. I had a crying moment tonight thinking about Beth. Sometimes life just sucks and we have to take it for what it is and know the sun will still rise tomorrow and we will go on. XO
ReplyDeleteRosalie- you are such a strong spirit. I know your loved one is looking down from above filled with pride at the strength you posses. It's never to late to tell someone you love them. Even if they are not on physical earth.... They hear and feel your love, pain, happiness, forgiveness. I love you lady. Keep strong
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice man you have. I agree with you life is hard, sometimes harder than others and we can't use that as an excuse to eat bad. Hang in there :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rosalie-Thank you for your blog. you are an inspiration. I would like to ask did you follow the BFC plan right from the start when you began your blog? Did you ever fall off the "bandwagon"? I am really considering this, it seems so easy and doable, my hardest part is the fruits. I love fruits. Thanks in advance for answering! Take care.- Lupita
ReplyDeleteHi Lupita,
DeleteI started the original BFC on Jan 25, 2010. In March I started blogging to stay accountable for myself. I stayed very strict with the plan and never fell.
I thought by not eating the fruit, I would not do this forever. But go back and read my early posts and you will see how over time as I started losing and saw that it REALLY DOES WORK, I didn't care about that any more.
The only fruit I eat are berries. Black berries, raspberries have the lowest sugar. After I lost all the weight then I now eat blueberries and maybe a strawberry once in a while.
Do it - It Works.
Thank You Rosalie! You sold me! lol Have a great and blessed day. :)
DeleteSo many hugs your way Rosalie! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you have honey!! Hang tight!

You're inspiring me more than you could ever know. Hugs to you!
