My Thursday...

Good Morning all,

I want to start off today be welcoming all the new people. I have noticed in the past few weeks that there are more viewers however, you are all not leaving comments. Please Join our blogs and comment with anything, problems - questions - or just how your day is going.

Support is such a big part of your success. I promise you that it will help keep you accountable and to reach you goal.

Breakfast was eggs scrambled with sauted baby spinach, turkey sausage crumbles and cheese, a bit of cottage cheese and berries.
Still trying to get the stuff from our tax guy - he's a JACKASS!! So no loan docs until maybe Monday - who knows when he will help us. I did call the office of the builder and told them what was going on and said if it was a problem if it took another week to close?? He said no problem. Very nice of them.

Since we a bit more calm about the house situation we decided to go out to lunch and look at couches again. We want to get a sofa, loveseat and a chair for Hubby.  I have no idea why we are having such a hard time?

Before we left I ate a Protein bite - I was hungry.

We went to  a place here in California - Can you guess what place it is??
OK - Islands restaurant. They serve burgers, fries and salads, stuff like that.
I had a 1/2 Cesar chicken salad and left 3/4 of the croutons on the plate so I could eat a few of Hubby's fries.

So we went to 2 different places and I made hubby sit on everything. Please excuse the way I look!! No makeup - it was too HOT Way over 100 every day. And as you can see - I have not slept a wink in over 2 weeks now - look at the bags under my eyes. I look like SH*T. I am actually starting to get dizzy every day once in a while. No Bueno.

These are the ones I liked that fit in our budget.

We might get this one cause when you sit on it you feel like you are sitting on a feather pillow and you sink - it is Soooo Cumfy!! And it is a neutral color.
We have to measure again and make sure what ever we get will fit.
This is kind a bad picture of their model on the website of our model except out house is flipped and the kitchen will be on the right instead of the left. and as you can see the space is a bit limited so we have to choose wisely and not too expensively wither
This is the way ours will look.
When we got home I was hungry; I ate a turkey patty and broccoli.

Went for a 2 mile walk with the furry girls bet 7-8pm  after it cooled off a bit.

Came back and ate one of my brownie muffins and a bit of rediwhip. This morning after trying to cut out most of my carbs yesterday my weight was down a bit.

Boy if you look at my food, it sure doesn't look like I ate that much does it?? Compare that to 3 years ago of what I would have eaten in a day - probably like Day and Night. Wow I have come a long way.

Today I plan on making some homemade Hazelnut-chocolate butter. Like peanut butter but with hazelnuts I will let you know how it came out and take pictures - of course.

Have a great day.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Ability, Motivation, Attitude

Attitude Positive QuoteAbility is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  3. I love the couch that is marked 395. but if it isn't comfortable, then it isn't worth it! I have not seen ANY couches for that price around here. I am glad that you are feeling more hopeful, that may help you sleep! I agree, try Nyquil, it will kick your butt!
I wish I was at the Island's, even if it was a restaurant!

  4. Not that it matters but that last sofa would be my pick too, Pottery Barn style. I started back at school today and people kept commenting on how different I look! I kept thinking you all should just wait because next year at this time I will look REALLY different. It's nice to get the feedback but I can't let it slow me down. I think this is a tough point., I'm starting to wear twelves feel great, etc..but want & need to go lower. How did you stay focused and not stop earlier? Was 150 always your goal?

  5. Go with the neutral one that's comfy. I love the layout of the house. I think you should put Peaches & Mandy in one of the spare bedrooms and RS in the other!! I'm happy that things are moving forward. You look great, but put some makeup on next time!!! I never leave home without it. I would scare the world!! Sending hugs and love. XO

  6. All of the couches are nice, so I would go with the one that is the most comfortable.

After all that you've been through, I just hope that everything works out in the end for you.

Regular allergy medicine knocks me out. I accidentally took it one time not realizing that it wasn't the non-drowsy formula, and within half an hour I was out cold for 3 hours straight in the middle of the day. I could have slept longer, but I made myself get up because I didn't want it to mess up my sleep for the night.

  7. Hi Rosalie, I am one of those who follow you but have never commented. I guess I just feel silly and like I wouldn't have anything interesting to say. I am 40 yrs. old, I was 258 lbs. when I started the BFC on June 9th. So far I've lost 21 lbs. I credit you as my main source of inspiration, I love your blog :) Hope to hear good news about your house soon.

  9. I like the 2nd couch pictured, it looks "sturdiest" to me. But they are all nice looking. Speaking of nice looking, you look great... even without makeup.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
