Going %#@&%^*

Hello Friends,

Well we still haven't heard yet. Yesterday was not a good day for me. On the 6th of August it will be 4 whole months since we put the deposit down on the new house. I am so surprised that they have been willing to hold it for us for so long. All these problems with getting the loan approved.

I was extremely upset (to put it mildly) with our loan girl yesterday and we were just about to tell to to go F-off and forget the whole thing. I went to bed upset last night and woke up this morning very upset. But today she re-submitted everything and she says the we might hear by tomorrow or Monday. If this doesn't work then we know we can't get a loan. We have to move out of here soon - the owner of this house keeps asking me twice a week when it will close. SHEESH!!

So for anyone who is trying to get a loan and you have a BK and or Short Sale on your record, you need at least 3 years to go by to get a loan. Just FYI.

So here's what I ate yesterday while I was having a nervous breakdown:
Breakfast A pumpkin muffin with the last of my pumpkin, turkey bacon and berries.
Lunch a turkey patty, sauted zucchini in EVOO, 1/2 avocado, and 1/3 cucumber.
snack; the last cheesecake muffin from the freezer w/natures hollow on top.

Went for a walk with the girls.

Dinner; chicken, broccoli, 3 brussel sprouts, and the other half of the avocado.

desert was one of my brownies from the other day and rediwhip. I seriously think I am addicted to RediWhip.

This morning Hubby and I went to a Denny's to meet a former Real Estate contact (a builder) we had from 3 years ago when we were doing Auctions. We auctioned off 12 of his houses for him. He said he thought Hubby had a new woman sitting next to him when he got there cause I look so different. Ha-ha

He mainly does loans now and we talked about working for him doing that. We both have R.E. licences and you need that to get a loan license over here in California. Hubby would be the loan person and I would be his assistant so-to-speak and do all the paperwork and put the file together. Anyway the 2 of us could do a WAY better job than the girl doing ours. Well we will see - Hubby has to pass the loan test first. On thing at a time.

I had coffee and my own sweetener in a baggie in my purse, a Fit Fare omelete which is: egg whites, spinach, mushrooms, cheese and turkey bacon. I told the waitress no potatoes or fruit or toast. I didn't even finish the whole omelete anyways maybe about 3/4.

Lunch was back at home which is where I prefer to eat;
tuna, mayo, avocado, celery, green olives w/ the jalapenos in side cut up, feta cheese, bacon bits, and a little baby spinach and a grape Zevia.  and  one of my brownies after for desert.
Hubby and I left to visit 2 furniture stores - still looking for a new couch to replace the one we sold. But just looking is all we are doing. We want to wait until if and when we move in the new house first. We just needed to take our mind off of stuff with out spending money.

BTW - I love when anyone comments here, even if its not what I think. As long as its not rude! So please continue to say how you feel even if we are all so different. Just do it with a smile :-)

Its about almost 5:30 and I think I will take the girls for a walk. Then dinner - have no idea what - maybe chicken again or turkey patty - IDK.

Well have a nice night - I gotta take my 2 beautiful girls to the shot clinic in the morning. I realized that their shots are way late - with all this stuff going on. They never sent me a reminder card and I'm a bad mommy...

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Guard Your Time

Guard well your spare moments. They are like uncut diamonds. Discard them and their value will never be known. Improve them and they will become the brightest gems in a useful life.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  3. I am so sorry to hear about all of the stressful junk going on. It is a shame that little Miss Loan couldn't just be honest with you. If she at least told you that it wasn't going to happen, you could move on and find someone else to do your loan.

I like how strong you are with your food. Even at very stressful times, you still eat good. I am still at a standstill and am considering Fast Track for 2 weeks just to get a jump start. I know how you feel about Fast Track, but I am so frustrated....I need a mix up to get things moving again. We'll see though.

    1. I think that might just work. I wouldn't be scared of Fast Track. I've been eating that way for months and all seems good with me. Getting your carbs really low (even temporarily) might kick start more fat burning. Won't know if you don't try ... good luck! Have you tried "intermitent fasting"? Skipping a meal here or there (not ongoing fasting). I do that sometimes when things seem sluggish.

  4. Ha ha ... :)

I really feel for you Rosalie ... this process in the States is so different from here. I don't understand it.

I agree with Dawn, awesome of you to keep on going (eating wise). So many would use it as an excuse to binge. Once again, you’re my role model :)

  5. UGH! SO sorry for all the frustration Rosalie....I could be addicted to whipped cream too if I made it often enough...it's not like I don't have a steady supply of heavy cream (for the coffee) and stevia, LOL....just too lazy, which works for me!! Ha!

    My thoughts are with you:)

  7. Goodness gracious...I'd be keeling me folks by now. On a good note...3 years wait there isn't bad. Here in Oregon and AZ it's 7 years...and the banks want 42% down. Realtors here barely make ends meet. But I'm glad you are eating well! I finally got the cobwebs out of my brain...and refocused now. So...hopefully...I will do better!

  8. Newbie here. I stumbled upon your blog and love it. My current weight 184 and goal is 140. Just passed Week 1 and have dropped 2 lbs. Some days are easy, some are not and this is a resource that I'm definitely going to draw some strength from. Good luck to all!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
