This is giving me a Headache...

Good Morning Friends,

Well since the news about being approved for the loan on the new house the other day, there has been a bit of chaos in our little 2 person + 3 furry ones household. Before we knew we had to wait until after July 20th to be able to get a loan and now here we are 1 month earlier and got a FHA @ only 3 1/2 % down non-the-less.

The past 2 weeks or so Hubby has been second guessing if that is our best choice for a house. That's why we have been driving around looking lately. The new house has a Mello-Rouse tax and that is the reason he's been trying to find one w/o that extra tax.

We have been trying to weight out the pros and cons of a used house w/o the mello rouse or get the new one which is Brand new and we won't have to fix anything up. Yeesh!! I was really getting stressed about this yesterday cause we had to give our loan person the decision right away since we are approved now.

We slept on it over night and decided to go with the new house even though it is farther for him to drive by 20 more minutes. So here we go I called her this morning and in 2-3 weeks we will be ready to move into our new house. Unless Hell freezes over or they say no again. Hope not. So-A-Packin some more I go.

What I ate yesterday;
Breakfast for me and Hubby was pancakes w/butter and Nature's Hollow on top and some berries.

Lunch we were out looking at the new house one more time just to make sure and we went to my favorite place for lunch: Chipotle. I had a salad w/lettuce, black beans, a little grilled onion and peppers, cheese, hot sauce and guacamole.

Snack when I got home was 2 of those chocolate fudge thingys I made. I am in love - ha-ha Gotta make some more today.

Took the girls for a walk.
Went outside and cut the front grass. Trying to be helpful since I don't work.

Dinner was some chicken and veggies from the local Chinese food place. Hubby had a craving and he had the orange chicken and I had the plain one of course. Got lots left of mine for today.

desert was some RediWhip in a bowl.

I know I probably shouldn't but here is a picture of what the new house looks like. Don't tell Hubby I did this. SHHHH
Look at how cute it is with a fenced in yard for the doggies.

Have a great day and weekend. I will be mostly alone again cause Hubby is working days and doesn't get home till after 7pm.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Yesterday – Today – Tomorrow

yesterday today tomorrow positive quote
Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow is only a vision. But today, well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day, for it is life, the very life of life.

Keep on BFC ' n

  4. I made some chocolate today (your way with almonds and coconut). I used a little less oil and more chocolate ... they are delicious. Had two today as my treats. I have some peppermint extract and coconut extract so may experiment with different versions. How fun! Good luck with the house - it will be nice to get settled finally after all this.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
