I have been Trying...

HI Friends,

Well I stupidly forgot to go and look outside last night at the big moon. Did anyone get to see it? It has been difficult for me, but I have been trying real hard to not be angry at a certain someone for a certain reason. We have gotten into many disagreements over the past 3 weeks because of IT. But Friday was the worst of them all. It took me 2 days to get over it and I feel a bit better this morning.
OK so this has been my breakfast yesterday and this morning. A flaxseed muffin, berries, and turkey bacon (which I always give 1 pc to the dogs).
I found it comes out better when I make my muffin in a small bowl and not a mug. I use the glass bowl you see in the picture and it comes out great for 2 min.
I have also been loving this spread I have been making for the top: 1 spoon of coconut oil melted, 1 spoon of butter, cinnamon and 1/2 pk of truvia, mix all together and its just enough for the tops of both half's and its GREAT.

Yesterday we went to see The Avengers... I saw all the other ones and all the characters were great.

Yesterday I was wearing a pair of size 8 jeans and for some reason I felt so skinny. They felt so big. When in my wildest dreams did I ever think I could say that!!

So that gave me permission to eat a bunch of popcorn w/o butter of course. I made my usual turkey meat w/cheese inside roll up's 2 of them and ate inside. And also 2 squares of 86% chocolate. and water.

By the time we got home it was late and I did not eat any dinner. Old habits I have developed never die I guess, and I refuse to eat so late at night. I guess I think it will make me gain weight or something. But I did have some RediWhip in a small bowl while watching TV and totally forget to go outside at 8:30 to see the moon. Oh Well.

This morning after I got out of the shower, I was wearing just my panties and bra and I went to tell hubby that I was gonna try real hard not to be mad today. He said Boy - you could be a Victoria Secret model now if you didn't have that little bit of loose skin on the lower part of your tummy. I said well that will never go away w/o surgery. Believe it or not - that was a compliment. LOL

I think today I will take him and go to Victoria Gardens (its a nice upscale outdoor mall) and eat lunch at my favorite - Chipotle and walk around and window shop. We need some relaxing time together with no madness on my part. I am trying to let it go.

Then later mow the yard front and back. Yesterday I was trimming and pulling weeds and he kept telling me that we are just renters now and don't worry about it. I said its our responsibility and the dogs walk thru here and I don't want them getting cuties. And I want to anyways :-)

  1. Hi Rosalie. I hope you have a nice time window shopping and lunchng at Chipotle. Love that place. You are very strong and also very kind. I'm sorry that things are upsetting you these days. This too shall pass. I always try and tell myself that. Things change and nothing stays the same. So hang in there, because I'm sure better days are ahead. Sending love and hugs.

  4. I am sad that you are sad, but glad that you are trying a new perspective!
    Great job on the compliments from hubby. I just asked mine if he was bummed that I still had cellulite legs even after losing weight and he said "no, you have firmed up a lot!" That made me feel good, but I still have cellulite legs. It's mostly just loose skin, like you probably have on your tummy. There is no exercise in the world that works on making skin firmer:(
    I want to see the Avengers too. My twins were there at 10:00 PM the night it opened so they could see it at midnight. Super Hero geeks:)
    We are getting a Chipotle soon. I'm not sure where in Spokane, I just remember reading about it.

  5. Sorry you are upset. Do you think it's RS or is it really stress from escrow? Either way, I'm sorry. I have some over here too. I"m sick of living in an ugly house. My husband is sooo busy with my 9 yr olds baseball that he hasn't been working on the house. I"m not sure what his excuse is for the last 8 yrs of owning it, but I"m tired of it! I like that mall you went to. I think my husband re-finished the teak furniture at that mall. It has good stores. I really love the Bass Pro restaurant (around the mall). Great food and atmosphere :)

  7. Enjoyed your comments today. Size 8 seems like a dream to me, but I'm trying to change my perspective and make it a reality. I like your suggestion about making the muffin in a bown in stead of a cup. Is it me, or does the muffin taste very "eggy"? I will also make your spread recipe. Which RediWhip do you use?

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
