A Quick Update...

Good Morning all,

I just want to make a quick post. I have a lot to do today. Yesterday we did go to Victoria Gardens. Ate a salad at Chipotle first, then walked around for about 3 hours. It was nice. We walked by the White-Black store. He said, isn't that the store you got those jeans at? I said yeah the $88 ones. He said why don't I go get another pair. I went in and wound up getting 2 pairs of jeans (size 4) that were on the markdown rack for $39 each for a bill of $86 for the 2. What a deal.

We also went to furniture stores to look for a new sofa and love seat cause I had to sell ours cause it was too big for the new house. It was fun - no arguing - we both seemed to like the same stuff. We were just looking though. I want to wait until we get a final word.

I am hope today we will get any kind of news about the underwriter from the lender. They keep asking for stuff and it might not go thru - because we did a short sale a little less than 2 years ago on the last house we were at. Think positive thought for me Please.

Just when I thought the dogs were doing better, I just now had to break up a fight. Little RS is always starting up and wanting them to play and they are old not young like her. I was putting away laundry upstairs and they were playing at first then I hear loud angry barking. I yelled HEY - and by the time I got into the next room they scattered. I think maybe it just sounded bad - cause they were fine and RS ran in her crate.

Last night when we got home we had a steak and broccoli and brussel sprouts for dinner and some RediWhip in a bowl for desert. Any kind of RediWhip brand is fine - they all have the same S/C.

Got to go  - I have:
bills, paperwork, laundry, mow and weed-eat lawn front and back, pack, and run a few errands.
- have a great day Friends.

Desire Your Own Happiness

If there were in the world today any large number of people who desired their own happiness more than they desired the unhappiness of others, we could have paradise in a few years.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. It's sounds like a nice, busy kind of day. I like those kinds of days; you get a lot done but it's not stressful. I hope you are feeling better, and I will pray that all ends well for you. Hugs.

  2. It does sound like the perfect day. Thanks for checking in with us.

  3. Yay for you in those size 4 jeans. Keeping fingers crossed that all works out for you. Sending hugs.

  4. Lucky you for finding a great sale on your jeans - and a size 4 - WOW! Thank you for continuing to post even though life for you is busy - something I need to get better at. Hope you receive some good news soon from your underwriter. :)

  5. Sounds like a nice day! Good luck with the house, both current and potential new. Hubs and I went to the bank today to see about refinancing ours and I've got my fingers crossed for us both ;)

  6. I am so excited for you! It sounds like things are getting a little better at Rosie's house. A size 4? Girl, you rock!!! I may try and find some new capri's for the summer tomorrow. I doubt VERY seriously that I will be a size 4 and I am 2 inches shorter than you are. Good job!
You do have a very good attitude and you are determined. I love that!

  7. A size 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!??? OMG!! That is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I would have bought 10 pair!!! Did you get a new dog?? I know I have been away a long time & there is no way I will ever be able to catch up on 6 weeks worth of posts. Sorry to have been away so long. Life is good but busy!
    Missed you my friend!

  8. Rosalie, thanks for your constant encouragement on my blog! Know how you feel about the extra work with the dog, except mine was MY idea! Congrats on the size 4 - I didn't know they even made jeans that small, lol!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
