Here's a new product and some easy Exercises for ya...

Good Morning All,

Yesterday (Friday) morning I had some cereal for breakfast.
This cereal has 0 sugar and kind of tastes like Grape Nuts to me. It was good but I always feel hungry a couple hours later when I don't eat my regular stuff.

Hubby has to work the night shift Fr-M at the FD. I am really getting tired of seeing movies every weekend sometimes, but we really have no life and I really wanted to see The Hunger Games. So we went early at the 12:20 showing so we would be out in time for him to go to work.

I ate popcorn of course and I loved the movie. It was 2.5 hours long BTW. When we got out it was around 3pm and there was a L-O-N-G line waiting - at 3pm - on a FRIDAY!! WOW! I have a feeling this movie is gonna make a ton of money and I wouldn't mind going again maybe with Lisa and Maria. So if you're gonna go this weekend - go to an early show to avoid the long lines.

After the movies I went shopping. First Cost Plus-World Mkt, then Ulta next door, then Sam's Club accross the lot, then Wal-Mart next door, then Target for a sec across the st., then Sprouts a couple blks away, then Albertsons on the way home. Albertson's had Benefiber (which I couldn't find anywhere else - what??) and 2 things I found.
The first one is LEOB'S Onion Crunch. I saw this guy on the morning news showing off his new product and how you can put it on everything. You know I already put bacon bits on everything - so... I looked it up and has 0 sugar. Albertsons is the only place that had it so far.
And I finally found some So Delicious unsweetened ice cream so I can try it. And Yeah that is MINT CHIP. It says 1 serving is 1/2 cup and has 1sugar/2carbs servings. I will let you know how it is.

When I got home it was after 5pm and I was tired and put everything away and of course the girls were waiting for me, so at 5:30 we went for a 2.6 mile walk. OK - so I think I am overdoing it and I am getting tired - so much everyday. I am looking forward to a break tomorrow cause its supposed to rain. LOL

But I have to tell you that I feel like I have to walk every day and keep skipping my carbs w/dinner - even though I am at my goal weight - I keep thinking that if I don't - I will get FAT again!!

I keep seeing so many stories where some have lost a lot of weight like me, and then let themselves get out of control again and gained it all back. That is NOT gonna be ME!

I saw this on Pintrest and am trying it every day to see if it helps me and wanted to share with you:

This seems to be the area that I need help with, my hips and thighs and it looks easy.

When I got back it was 6:30 and I ate a spinach salad and made some cauliflower crust w/jalapenos inside and just ate some of that plain.

desert was just some RediWhip in a bowl.

Thanks for listening and don't forget to visit my friends blogs on the list below. Big Hugs to all.

  1. My husband wants to see the Hunger Games. I am not a movie person, but I guess I will go with him. I think you are so successful because you are a creature of habit and do and eat the same things pretty regularly. I am always changing things up, and maybe that's not so good. I am trying to automate my eating and walking each day, so it is second nature. You continue to be my inspiration! Hugs and love as always!

  4. I kind of think you are right about being scared. I am one of those people that gets out of control. I think a little extra carb here and there won't hurt and next thing I know is I am up almost 20 lbs. I quit exercising. A lot of bad habits slowly crept back into my life. I am having a hard time getting it back under control. I really dont want to go up another size. I keep hoping I will get the will power and motivation back. Also I saw the Hunger Games too and it was great!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
