Boring.....

HI - Good Morning Friends,

Not much going on over here. Yesterday was a boring lonely day for me, as will be today. Hubby has been working days this week so I am home alone, well except for my 2 furry best friends. Boy if it wasn't for them - I don't know if I would ever smile sometimes.

I don't work and really have no where to go - so I stay at the house so I won't be tempted to spend money I don't have. I have been working on Nutritional Earth's Facebook page and Blog for Hubby. For those of you that are interested in Health, It is a Great Vitamin supplement. I take 2 every morning and have for over a year now. There is absolutely no need to ask your doctor first - its only a vitamin and if you would like to try it, a coupon is posted above - Left.

So Hubby found a link to the video about the Garlic Shooters. It was on The Doctors not Dr Oz. Here is a link:  http://www.thedoctorstv.com/videolib/init/6116
I am liking them, once you get used to the taste. Remember he puts cayenne pepper in it and makes it way better. Like all the girls said yesterday - it is good for you.

Breakfast yesterday;
flaxseed muffin, 1 egg, berries, and U/S almond milk

lunch;
canned chicken w/mayo, 1/2 avocado cut up, feta cheese, bacon bits, on top of Oasis low car bread and swiss cheese.

Went for our 2.5 mile walk

dinner;
turkey medallions w/a spoon of pesto sauce, grated romano cheese and some Kimchee.
desert; was a coconut-chocolate muffin w/a few walnuts and s/f chips, maple extract, and a spoon of peanut butter. So much fluffy-goodness. Yum

That's it for now - I hope you all have a great day and if you need any help or anything - post it in the comments below and we will all help you.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Overcoming Objections

Nothing will ever be attempted if all possible objections must first be overcome.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  4. I can understand being lonely. I have been off work the last couple of days because I have been sick and I am going crazy. I think If I did not work I would have to find some kind of hobby to do.

  5. Sorry to hear you are having a tough day. Maybe think about making something green for St Patrick's Day :) You always come up with the best meal ideas.

  6. Wish you were closer Mom!!! Now that I have all this free time on my hands LOL!! I like the idea of a knitting or crocheting club. I was in the yarn aisle at Joanns one day and met a couple of ladies that were in a little club like that. They met every Tuesday at Panera, all ages, just to sit and craft together. I thought it was kind of cool :o)
    Soooo....maybe you can start stalking ladies in the yarn aisle next time you're there LOL. Love you!!!!!

  7. I'm sorry you are lonely and that I haven't commented lately. I've been sooooo swamped at work with meetings and all of the corporate BS.....and I'm supposed to be part-time....atleast that's my title and what they pay me!!!!! You can have my job!!! At this point, I'm so fed up with this company and how little they pay us (and don't give benefits or anything)and how they expect more and more that I'm ready to tell them where to shove their job! Be careful what you wish for.....I wanted to go back to work after being laid off , but I was soooo stressed out last night that I didn't sleep more than 20 mins all night (and I had the big corporate jerks to present in front of today). Grrrrr!

  9. I'm sorry that you are lonely. I sure enjoyed visiting with you the other day. My hubby worked out of town a lot and I guess I just got used to it. I had the TV all to myself:)
    You are a sweetheart!

  10. I hope something comes up for you in the job market Rosie. I think that would really help with your loneliness. Have you tried Kohls? I hear their employee discount is awesome & working the floor or being a cashier wouldnt make your tremors apparent. I think you should check it out....even a few hrs a week.
    Hope you are feeling better today!
    Love

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
