Yesterday we did not wind up going to the movies. I ate the Almond crust pizza again for lunch w/a spinach salad. OK so I will lay off for at least a week. LOL.
In the evening we went to see Hubby's daughter Nicole perform in Irvine. She dances as you might remember me mentioning. She is VERY, VERY good. She has been on many TV shows like, MTV music award as back-up dancer for many popular artists. She recently went on tour for a month out of the country for: Keri Hilson, I think. I can't remember all the thing she has done. You know my Middle-Heimers :-)
We walked in the lobby and saw this life size cut outs and that's her on the right. HAHA. The show was great.
But on the way it was raining and I was hungry so we stopped at Carl's Jr. and I had 3 chicken strips dipped in buffalo sauce and a side salad. I felt better and was able to sit thru the show. It started at 7:30 There was about 23 performances of all different dance groups, and she was in 4 and we did not get out until 11pm and got home at midnight. This ole lady did not like being out so late. HAHA
Anyway I woke up this morning hungry cause I missed my treat after dinner of tea and something BFC sweet. So I had a great breakfast of:
2 eggs scrambled w/little onion, 2 mushrooms cut up and sauted, baby spinach, cheese, avocado, and turkey bacon and 2 slices of some Zuchinni-cheese coconut flour bread I made yesterday w/natures hollow on top.
I feel much better now. I actually love the flavor of the Zuchinni-cheese bread. I eat it plain or w/butter or sometimes with meat and cheese melted on top. Whatever. I like it. I have been trying to make a different flavor of coconut bread all the time. You know - rotate, so I don't get bored of one flavor. Next time Lemon maybe.
Well maybe a movie today then. Hubby got called into work today - day-shift. Well the rain stopped over here in Southern Cali, so I am gonna make sure to get a walk in this morning with my 2 furry friends.
Thanks for listening and have a great day. Lots of love to all.
This is PurpleRosy signing off....
My thought for the day:
Plant Kindness
He who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

I'm glad the show was great she is a very pretty girl. Your breakfast sounds yummy. Have a great rest of your weekend :)
ReplyDeleteYou were in my neck of the woods! I went to UC Irvine :) I didn't go out once yesterday. Actually, I stayed in my robe all day long because it was rainy and cold. My son had soccer, but I didn't watch in the cold rain (that's what sport nut dads are for....LOL) Anyhow, so cool how talented your stepdaughter is. I watched one of her videos once and she is really really good AND GORGEOUS! Hope you have a great rest of the weekend!

Oh boy, am I making lots of typos this morning. Meant to say "add" not "ass"...oy!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're proud of your hardworking daughter, and that she's found work that she enjoys.
ReplyDeleteAs always, thank you for sharing.
Going to see professional dancers sounds like a fun night out - especially when one is your stepdaughter! It's been awhile since I've been out that late too!
