I'm Not Dieting - I've Changed My Lifestyle

I know - all we want to do is help others, RIGHT??

Hello all,

Boy - it's been hot over here and our AC broke about 3 days ago. As I take my daily walks I noticed a, neighbor's truck that said ac, heating and appliance repair around the corner from me. He came over and fixed my oven a while back, and I put in a call to him to come over. The appt. is in the morning - so I hope its not gonna have to be replaced or cost me an arm and a leg. I kinda like my arms and legs.

I have been reading many frustrating comments lately on other blogs. I know we want to tell the world about the BFC, But its not fun when they don't want to listen or really take you seriously.

WE know what this lifestyle is doing for us. Don't get discouraged. If you are anything like me - you just want to tell the whole world and anyone and everyone you meet or know.

I HAVE BEEN ON A DIET FOR THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF AND I HAVE LOST 85LBS!!

That sounds good enough to get them enticed - right? Well all they hear is: lost 85lbs. Then you tell them how and you lost it. They think they will never be able to do that. Or they are not willing to give up all that good crap that we used to eat!!

I know - all we want to do is help others, RIGHT?? Well I am not sure how I was able to do this. Maybe the fact that I could actually eat some carbs and eggs and cheese. I love those I guess and that's why I don't mind eating them all the time.

Maybe that's the key - we have to love all the food options that come along with the Belly Fat Cure.

I know I do!! And I know that I can do this!! I know YOU all can do this along with me!!

Don't give up!!
Don't give in to the food bullies!!
and if you did - Don't beat yourself up because you made a mistake!!
Don't forget to support each other!! (see my list of blogs below)
AND - Don't stop sharing with others!!

Today I ate:
breakfast; 2 oasis toast w/butter and joseph's sugar free  peanut butter, 2 eggs w/mushrooms, onions, chicken, feta cheese, 1/2 avocado, coffee, blah, blah, blah.  S-4/C1

lunch; smart and delicious wheat tortilla, hummus for flavor, colby-jack cheese, turkey pastrami, spinach, and a few of each blackberries, raspberries, blueberries in a cup.  S-4/C-1

snack; spicy pork rinds 0-0

dinner; turkey patty, broccoli, pesto sauce  and RediWhip for desert.  S-1/C-0

P.S. Pattie, I did like you said about my nails. I got some acetone and put it on cotton balls and wrapped in foil and scraped it off myself. All you have to do is wait a few more minutes, they really messed up my nails. Then I got some OPI stuff for soft and thin nails. They look and feel much better, thanks.

Thanks for listening everyone. Big hugs to all of you.

This is PurpleRosy signing off.....

My thought for the day:

Wholeheartedly

Happiness is essentially a state of going somewhere, wholeheartedly, one-directionally, without regret or reservation.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. I think you hit the nail on the head, Rosalie! We have to love what we eat. And our choices on the Belly Fat Cure are pretty awesome! I was so resistant for so long, when it really wasn't a big deal once I did it to give up all the sugary crap that I used to eat.

  5. Reember you can only help those who want help...each person is ready in their own time. no matter how much sense it makes, if someone isn't ready, your words fall on deaf ears. When they re ready , you can bet they will come looking for you!!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
