Feeling Bloated....

Good Morning all,

I really don't have that much to report today. I had a boring lonely day. It was hot yesterday and will be again today.

I walked yesterday 3.2 miles. I went after 6pm and the dogs were bugging me ever since 4. I kept telling them its not time yet - its too hot, but they kept coming back. Is it time yet?? So I cooked my stir fry veggies first and then went so I could eat it when I got back. I walked with them once and then put them back home and went 3 more times by my self. I love it!! Makes me feel good after.

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 eggs w/sauted mushrooms, little onion, baby spinach, and cheese, and a smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, coffee w/benefiber, truvia, powdered cream, cinnamon, all my vitamins, 2 probiotics and 2 Reslina.  S-2/C-1

lunch; I made some clam dip (on my Recipes page), used some celery, Mary's Gone Crackers, hummus and a little peanut butter, and some pork rinds. S-0/C-1

dinner; stir fry veggies of: celery, zuchinni, broccoli, mushrooms, onion, asparagus, baby bok choy, and hand full of turkey medallions, braggs and small amt of alfredo sauce for flavor. Some RediWhip for desert. S-5/C-1

I have been up in my weight 2lbs for the past few days. I feel it in my stomach, it feels bloated and think maybe I'n not going #2 enough. So I'm starting back on the Super Seed in the afternoon again. I had stopped it for a while to see if I needed it. I've only been using the benefiber in my morning coffee. Well we will see if that helps.

As women, we face that problem all the time on the BFC, I have found out. Our weight goes up and down often. I know it seems like the end of the world when it goes up by just 1 lbs. We feel like this isn't working.

I want to say that I am living proof that it DOES work! One of the reasons is because I never quit or stopped when this sort of thing happened. I just kept doing the Belly Fat Cure - no matter what. And eventually it evened out.

One thing I do once in a while is; when at functions or a party, or out to eat, I take just 1 thing that I really want and miss and just have 1-3 bites. That's all and then I push it away. That way I get to taste it without feeling guilty or really messing up what I am trying to accomplish.

Try that the next time you are in a situation.

Last week someone asked me why I never eat butter on my popcorn and I am sorry I forgot to answer that. The main reason is it has like a zillion calories. I know we don't count calories on the Belly Fat Cure, but I DO look at them on certain products, not add them up for my day.

Did you know that 1 tablespoon of butter can have 100 calories?? So use it sparingly.

Somebody asked me about:  Mission carb balance soft taco.
First - we eat NO WHITE - STUFF. So that means no flour tortillas either. Only wheat or whole grain. Also may products that might not show any sugar on the label, DO have Sucralose in the ingredients. I believe those tortillas have Sucralose which is a artificial sweetener which we don't eat on the BFC. Sorry :-(

  1. Rosalie thinking of you as I just dropped in to my nail place for a Mani / pedi. Boy do I need it. Its hot here too but very humid. My big dog hates the eat. Thanks for the clarification on the mission tortillas. I wondered about them. Good comment about the butter too. Sometimes I think I can eat all that I want of those sort of things because they are belly fat ok.

  2. I feel your pain on the bloating. I think I finally have a handle on it:) I like that you are putting your s/c values on your food. You don't seem to eat the 6 carbs a day?

  3. I too feel you pain on the bloating. All the pain meds I have been on have done bad things to my tummy if you know what I mean. Your dogs remind me of mine always wanting to go for their walk no matter what the weather. Started taking my reslina cant wait to see a difference.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
