Don't be so hard on Yourself....

Good Morning Listeners,

How is everyone today?? I hope you all have a great day today It is supposed to be 75 over here today, and to me that is perfect weather to be outside. I plan on doing my walk today at least 2 miles with my 2 dogs and enjoy the outside later.

I found that when I feel bad about anything - no matter what the reason, when I go and walk with my 2 best friends, I always feel better after.

I use this program on my Motorola Droid X phone called Cardio Trainer. It measures how far you go by the gps sattelites and how many calories you burn and how many minutes it took. It also takes the music on your phone and plays it for you as you walk. I have a blue tooth ear piece that allows me to hear the music, so I have 1 ear open to talk to people as I walk by and they don't even know I have music on. It's really great.

Look - I know it's hard to do the BFC sometimes. I know how some people always say stuff like: come on - one time isn't gonna kill you. Don't listen to them. They don't understand what it is like to be so disciplined. One time will lead to 2. 2 times will lead to 4. And 4 times will lead to FAT AGAIN!!

But I want you to know, that if you did give in - if you did listen - It's OK. You are not a bad person because you were weak that one time.
PLEASE - PLEASE - Don't Be So Hard On Yourself!!!

Just shake it off and make the next day a better one. Just keep doing the Belly Fat Cure and ... Trust me - this does work!!

What I ate yesterday:
breakfast; cherrios w/ unsweetened almond breeze and truvia, 3 turkey bacon, 8 blackberries, coffee blah, blah, blah.
lunch; salad from Chipotle - Yum!! lettuce, black beans, cheese, spicy shredded beef, sour cream, guacamole, and of course hot salsa.
dinner; shirataki noodles w/a turkey patty cut up, broccoli, and some pesto sauce I got at Sam's club (0 sugar), and some Parmesan on top. 2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate w/ some chocolate and white RediWhip for desert.

Thank you everyone for listening. Lots of love and hugs. Please participate and leave your messages below, that way we can all support each other.

Don't forget about the list of my BFC friend's blogs below too.

  1. Rosy,
OK,,, I see where I went wrong making my comment that didn't post,
I was saying I signed on to your face book ,,,but I don't know what the terms mean. Is it OK to comment here on your blog or email to you? As I told you at 74 it is time to stop the yo yo. I enjoyed your cooking video. The way you tell what you eat for each meal will help me to get started.
I need to be accountable to someone right now.
    Please help me
    Linda

  2. Rosie, I was reading through your old posts so that I could see where your head was at when you were as far along as I am. It was interesting to see that you were going through the same things. I just realized that I was starting week 10 next Monday and I am stuck at 14.3. 2 lbs a week is really where I wanted to be. I guess that is just a wake up call to either exercise more or eat a little less!

  3. And ladies....don't forget that muscle weighs more than fat so you might not show the pound loss as much as the inches at times....use those tapes!!! =)

  4. Hey Rosalie!!! It is going to be nice here today, almost 80 which we havent seen since last summer, so I too plan to enjoy the day. Gonna try to take a little walk too & try not to strain the tendons in my foot.
We always do tend to be so hard on ourselves at times and I agree, its all about brushing yourself off and getting back up on the horse!!!
Have a wonderful day in that CA sunshine!!!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
