Year 2, Monday starting wk 14 on the Belly Fat Cure

Hello and Good Day to all of my Listeners,

Well yesterday I wound up going to hubby's moms house (hubby worked day shift) in the morning and I went to church with her. She was very happy and surprised. Then we went back to her house and we ate lunch and watched a movie while we waited for everyone to get there. It was nice to be around an actual person for a change instead of being alone all the time.

What I ate yesterday
  • breakfast; 2 slices of Oasis bread, w/butter then some avocado smashed on top, then some shredded cheese and 1 fried egg on top, with 2 turkey bacon, and 8 blackberries.
  • lunch; a Sara lee wheat pita w/ cheese, corned beef and mustard, 4 Joseph's sugar free cookies.
  • dinner; some turkey, chicken, collard greens, green beans. for desert 2 bites of pound cake 4 small pieces of strawberries w/ redi whip on top.

  • The other day someone asked how much Redi Whip I eat?? I have a bowl thats a little smaller than normal about 4" round and 2" tall and I just fill it up. Redi Whip has hardly any sugar or carbs and very little calories - so I say why not?
  • Wendy asked about the flavored stevia drops for your coffee?? I buy mine at Henry's Market, but you can also find many of the products I use on Amazon.com. Look on the widget at the top of the page with all the products on it.
  • You know when I started the Belly Fat Cure 1 year and 3 months ago, I never thought that it would work like this for me. I never thought I could actually eat this way forever. Look back at my posts from early on and you will see the kind of stuff I used to say. Now people ask me all the time how long are you gonna do this? Forever.........
  • My weight still goes up and down, but I know that is part of just being a woman. That is just the way its always gonna be. So I think that we need to give ourselves a 3lb range and just make sure that we don't go ever that. My weight seems to go between 155-158 depending on what I ate, I guess. Before I started the BFC, it used to go up and down 5lbs over night all the time.  So we must learn not to be so hard on ourselves when we wake up 1-2lbs heavier. Its no big deal.
Well thanks for listening. Lots of love and hugs to all. Please leave your comments and don't forget to visit and support all of my BFC friends blogs on the list below.

  1. Dear Purple Rosy,
I love your purple "after" pic you posted...purple top (love it!) and purple bling cell phone cover (we have the exact same one!)You look FABulous. I hope hubby's family told you that yesterday. If not, I just did :) Glad you got out and spent time with family yesterday. You are a true inspiration, Rosy!

  3. You always have such good information to share! So that explains how you eat the redi whip and chocolate. I thought maybe you melted it in or something. I saw a blog that Jorge did that he put chocolate in the bottom of a coffee mug, added the coffee and then the redi whip.
Thanks Rosalie for being so supportive!!!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
