First I want to start with What I ate:
Monday
breakfast; Quinoa (1 serving is 1/4 cup uncooked) w/ some onions, mushrooms, zuchinni, 1/2 pc of chicken, 2 scrambled eggs, a little salt and butter all in a bowl, 8 blackberries, coffee.
lunch; spinach salad, 1/2 pc chicken, feta cheese, bacon bits, balsamic dressing, some croutons.

dinner; we went to Lucilles BBQ. I had blackened swordfish, greens, and broccoli, and 2 bites of hubby's biscuit. Woo that was good - I haven't had a biscuit since I started the BFC.
Some RediWhip and 2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate.

lunch: small amt of the fish, greens and broccoli left over, and some Kimchee
snack; almonds
dinner; stir fry veggies w/ 7 meatballs, alfredo sauce, and RediWhip and 2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate.
I take a multi for women over 50
2 calcium w/vitamin D
1 fish oil
1 evening primrose oil
1 in morning and 1 at night of black cohash
2 probiotics - Natural Factors, acidopholus and bifidus 10 billion (above)
2 Reslina = the link is on the home page (top left). It's Resveratrol and Spirulina (very healthy)
- Every morning I take all my vitamins before I eat with a big glass of water.
I take a multi for women over 50

- Right now I am watching the Biggest Loser. I usually don't watch this because there is always something else on. There was a guy on that won on a prior show. He showed them a dish to eat and guess what? It was Quinoa. How about that. Remember I saw it on Dr Oz show and really like it, but its very tiny. LOL
- I really hope our group continues to grow. Tell all the fellow BFC 'rs out there that you know to come and join us. Tell them about the list of blogs below and follow and friend them. I have to tell you that I have been as successful as I have because of all the support I have gotten.It really DOES make a difference.
I don't have much else going on to tell you about. I am still on the job front. No luck yet - but I am not gonna give up. I have noticed that I am starting to lose my confidence. I saw something on the news that is what happens when you are looking for a while, But I 'm gonna keep going. BLAH!

ReplyDeleteIt truly is amazing how much we can eat as long as it falls within the guidelines. You are an inspiration! I was wondering where the heck your blog was for the day! I start looking for it in the early afternoon! I sure wish we could get some more people involved. It appears the facebook group I was accepted into is "lifeless". No postings:(
ReplyDeleteThanks for continuing to post -I read them every day. I just tried the Dukan Diet for two days and have lost 1#. Its really not an enjoyable way to eat - protein ONLY or protein/veggies on alternating days. I have been stuck and can not drop a # so I'm willng to try something different. I have alway stuck with the BFC but now I"m getting discouraged, I just want to drop 4-5#. Just had to vent.
ReplyDeleteFor the job hunt, have you considered going to a Temp Agency - that way you could be on call and try out a few postitions to see what you like.
Well, I'm off to make my protein shake and get the day started.
