Year 2, Wednesday wk 7 on the Belly Fat Cure

Good Morning to all,

I want to start out by telling you that it's gonna be a beautiful day over here in Southern  California, about 80 degrees. Wow - that's why I live here instead of Michigan where I grew up. You gotta just love the weather.

Yesterday I met Lisa and Maria at the new apartment. They slept at Maria's niece's house in Tustin, because of Lisa's 2 dogs. They are small and she lets them get all over all the furniture which we don't allow in my house. I love my dogs and they are always inside with me, but not on the furniture and mine are girls. They don't lift their legs and pee everywhere. Yup hers are boys.

We were supposed to meet at 9am, but we never got there until 10 because of the horrible traffic. There was an accident and you know how everyone has to looky-loo. OK, so - that's not one of the things I love about Southern California.

The movers were already there when we got there waiting for us. So we went in and Lisa signed the contract, paid her fees, and got the keys and these beeper thingys that you have to use to get thru all the interior doors.

It actually was pretty easy for us cause the movers brought everything in and even set up the beds for her. I don't know if I told you but Hubby's daughter, Nicole who is 26 moved into the extra bedroom with Lisa. I think it will be good for both of them.

So then I helped Nicole mover all her stuff in from her car. Up and Down the stairs a ton of times and down these long corridors carrying HEAVY, HEAVY stuff. I feel like I worked out  wit weights.

I ate breakfast in the morning before I left of:
2 Oasis bread w/butter and Joseph's sugar free peanut butter, 2 eggs, 1/2 avocado, 8 blackberries, and my coffee, blah, blah

Lunch: Maria had some tamales that her niece made with chicken (I think) and green beans inside, I had 1. Then about 1 &1/2 hours later Maria said she was still hungry. Oh did I tell you that Lisa left to go to the new hospital she's gonna work at in L.A. to take a physical. So Maria , Nicole and I went to this place across and down the street a little and I had some chicken and broccoli.

Dinner: I got home at 6pm and made myself some stir-fry veggies w/some chicken inside. Then after I had some RediWhip w/about 8 blueberries on top.

Well I am off again to Lisa and Nicole's new apt. to help.

I have my shape-ups on again and ready to walk down those long corridors and go up and down the stairs.

Thanks for listening and Have a great Day!

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
