Year 2, Monday starting wk 7 on the Belly Fat Cure

Hello All,

Hubby has to work days this week and remember that I said my sister Lisa is moving over here. She will arrive today and we get her set up in her new apartment tomorrow. She is bringing her Mom, Maria with her for a whole week. It will be nice - I haven't seen her since the burial.

I have had a busy morning so far. Got up had breakfast of a smart & delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 eggs, 1/2 avocado, 7 blackberries w/ my coffee, blah, blah, blah.

So after my breakfast I took my 2 babies to the groomer. Poor Peaches looks like a rag-a-muffin, her hair is so long, she needs a hair cut. Then I came back home and changed and washed the bedding, did laundry, cleaned all 3 bathrooms and dusted. I already vacuumed yesterday.

I am trying to straighted up before they get here, cause I will be busy helping Lisa move.

We went to the movies yesterday and saw Beastly. Its the story about the great looking guy who is so full of himself that he gets cursed by a witch and turns ugly. He has 1 whole year to get someone to love him and say I love you, or he will stay like that forever.

He hid from everyone because he felt so ugly. I remember when I felt like that when I was so big and I thought I would be like that for ever.

But look at me now. It is possible to not feel like that anymore. I did it and so can you. I would really like to help you if I can. Don't be shy - Just leave your comments with any help that you might need and I and the rest of us will be so happy to help.

Well I got to go - Thanks for listening. Love to all.

My thought for the day:

Resolve to be Happy

New_dayTo get up each morning with the resolve to be happy is to set our own conditions to the events of each day. To do this is to condition circumstances instead of being conditioned by them.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  5. I saw Beastly too yesterday. I thought it had a great message. I bought Super Seed a few weeks ago, but think I've only tried it one time. Got to make it a daily habit. Well nice to see every one is chiming in. Girls you make the world go round! P.S. Glad you are going to have time to spend with Maria again, if only for a week. She probably really needs company now.

  6. Rosalie - enjoy the time with your family! Im just catching up for the wk and I have to say I was not hungry in the beginning, or if I was I ate. After dinner was worse for me and Id make a Jay Robb shake every night for the first few months. I think that was habitual eating though, not true hunger. To get all my grains in by 3pm would have driven me crazy! I tried it briefly and it just made me hungry and craving things I couldnt have.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
